Mirai POV:
Sleep was the last thing on my mind, my eyes fixed on the ceiling. I thought about it over and over, even imagined what would happen. It was 4 am by the time I snapped out of my worried thoughts, thanks to Arinas yell as she sprung up from her bed.

I got up and rushed to her, pulling her into a hug. She was surprised for a moment, but then started to calm down. Her hands clutched my shirt, tears flowing down her cheeks. My fingers trailed through her hair, "It was a dream. I'm here now."

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ended up waking up next to her that morning, her fast asleep face the first thing I saw. The sound of my phone ringing was loud and I got up to answer, my dads voice on the other side, "Mirai where are you?"
"At home?"
"Get up and get to school. Immediately. I told your teachers that you'd be there for the third class. You're lucky you're not getting more detention time.", he told me sternly, whilst I sat back down on Arinas bed, "Okay. I'm sorry dad.", I apologiezed still half asleep and we hung up. With a smile I combed through Arinas hair again, before turning to check the time.
It was 9am.
"Shit.", I mumbled, rubbing my sleep deprived eyes, Arina grumbling next to me, "Why is it morning already?"
"We're late for school.", I mumbled, plopping back down. I really wanted to just fall back asleep.
"Wait what?! What's the time?!", Arina sat up abruptly, almost pushing me off the bed, "It's 9am?!"
"Yeah.", I put my arm over my eyes, shielding them from the sun.
I must've dosed off, since when I next opened my eyes it was thanks to Arina shaking my arm, "Come on let's go!"
And with that I got up, going to the bathroom quickly and changing before meeting Arina downstairs. We rushed to school, getting there just in time for lunch. My stomach grumbled, but I didn't really care at the moment. I looked and felt like shit and my racing mind or hungry stomach didn't help with that one bit.
"What the hell happened to you two?", Adrien asked when his eyes landed on us. Mari and Nate also looked up from their plates.
"Couldn't sleep.", I mumbled as I sat down, plopping my head over my arms on the table.
"Did something happen?", Nate asked, putting his book down. He looked between me and Arina with worried eyes.
"No. I just couldn't fall asleep until like 5.", I mumbled, closing my eyes. By the time the third class rolled in, I was just about ready to fall over. My head was hurting so much. But I deserved this.
I could barely keep my eyes opened during my fourth class, "Would a like a pillow, miss Evans?", I sat up abruptly, facing my teacher who was looking at me with a deep frown.
"I'm sorry."
He sighed and continued to teach and I noticed Nate giving me a worried look from where he sat a few seats over.
After my class I met with Arina, who also seemed quite worried. She gave me a tight hug when I was close enough, frowning up at me, "I'm sorry about last night. You didn't get any sleep because of me."
"What? No, it wasn't your fault. I just couldn't sleep. When you woke up from your nightmare I was already awake."
"Is something bothering you?", Arina asked, clutching onto the straps of her backpack.
I sighed, looking down at the ground, "Kinda."
"What-", she tried to ask bur was interrupted by a third voice in our conversation, "Hey Arina. French is about to start.", a boy, Blake I think, walked up to us, looking disheveled as ever.
