Mirais POV:
The next day was nice. Finally the burden from the last few weeks fell from my shoulders and I felt at peace. Arina also looked very happy and neither of us looked as tired as we did the past few days, finally getting at least eight hours of sleep.

Though something that did worry me were my grades and Arinas too. But I tried my best to do well on the testing yesterday, now I just have to hope that it was enough. Arina and I breakfast together and chatted, walked to school together and spent most of our time together as usual.

"You know, Arina, later were celebrating Nates b-day at the arcade. A tripple date if you will.", Marianna said, raising both her eyebrows at us, suggestively.

"A triple?", Nate asked, his face scrunched up in confusion.

"Well yeah, you'll be with the food.", Adrien said, with full blown seriousness in his voice and stoic expression. Not even a second later his expression changed completely as he smiled brightly at Nate.

Said birthday boy sighed, but then chuckled, "Fine, I'm with the food."

"Your true love.", Mari added, nudging him.

Nate rolled his eyes, a smile on his face, "My only for this lifetime.", he said, sarcasm lacing his voice.

We all shared a laugh.

"Happy birthday Nate.", Arina said, giving him a small smile.

"Thanks.", he said back, a bigger smile than before.

Sophia soon joined us on the table and ended up getting invited to the birthday party. Nate seemed somewhat bothered and so was I, but didn't object, saying that it was fine when Adrien asked.

Outside it was getting a bit dark, the street lights in the neighborhood were turning on one by one.

The time for Nates birthday party was fast approaching.

"Mirai, its 7pm.", Arina said, surprise lacing her voice.

I looked over at the time on my phone, "Already?"

Surely enough, it was 7 pm.

"Yeah... c'mon we better get ready before Mari has our heads."

We both laughed before I swiftly exited the room, going to the bathroom to get ready.

I didn't really have a lot of party outfits, but it was Nate and he never liked his birthdays being treated as an event, so I knew that I could get away with wearing a very simple outfit.

Since it was cold outside, I decided on a purple sweeter and black pants. I let my hair down, brushed it and took strands of it to tie in the back. After I applied some deodorant and perfume as well as moisturizer and a purplish lipstick, the look was finished.

I looked in the mirror, before going to inform my mother that we were gonna head out in a second.

Arina's POV:
I looked through my wardrobe and found a mustard colored hoodie that I had bought recently as well as black leggings. Blond hair was let loose, with a couple of pins on the sides as accessories, along with the yin and yang necklace. After taking a quick peek at the full length mirror and putting on some perfume, I walked downstairs.

There I saw Mirai sitting on the sofa, waiting.

"Are Mari and Adrien on their way?"

She looked towards me and nodded, a blush forming on her face, "You look great."

"Thanks.", embarrassed, I cleared my throat and walked over to the front door to get my jacket.

That's when we heard the sound of a car honking outside, "That's probably them." Mirai said and went to open the front door.
