Mirais POV:
During the beginning of summer, specifically on the 15th of June, was Adrian's birthday and it was one of the last days he could spend at home before moving away for college.

It was difficult for everyone, especially Marianna.

Soulmates always had a hard time when apart from each other, in rare cases causing physical pain. So when Adrien's birthday finally arrived, it seemed that no one was very excited to celebrate.

Some of Adrien's extended family paid a visit the day before, as that was the only time that everyone was free. And now it just left us, at his place, trying our best, but honestly failing to party.

Suddenly, Mari, bubbly as ever jumped up from her soulmates embrace and turned to us all, "Anyone want to sing some karaoke!?" Despite the bright smile on her face, it was blatant that she was upset, her eyes looking glossy in the light of the room.

I sighed, giving her a smile, before looking towards the others, "Sure.". The rest of our group nodded, agreeing as well, small smiles on their faces after hours of frowns.

We sung some karaoke, most of the time just joking around instead of properly singing. Mari and Adrien seemed to have fun singing duets purposely bad, dancing around and making weird dramatic faces.

"Come on, your turn!", Mari exclaimed, giving me her mic, whilst Adrien gave his to Arina.

The two of us stood up and started to sing a duet as well, though not as goofy. I couldn't stop smiling as Arinas melodic voice filled the room, making my heart beat fast.

Meanwhile our friends kept teasing me that I was missing my parts and that I should stop ogling at her.

After yelling our hearts out, we all became hungry and decided to get some of the food that was previously prepared by Adrien's dad.

After we ate, we all laid on separate couches and armchairs, groaning like beached whales. No one said anything and soon silence fell between us.

"Lets build a pillow fort!", Arina exclaimed suddenly, making Adrien and Nate almost fall out of their seats.

"You scared the crap out of me!", Adrien exclaimed back, holding a hand over his heart as Mari laughed next to him.

"Sorry.", Arina apologised, a sheepish smile on her face.

As the rest of the group agreed, we started building the pillow fort, ending up in a pillow fight near the end that almost destroyed it.

And as we all laid in the fort, watching movies on the TV, sleep took over each of us one at a time.

Sadly, all good things had to come to an end and a few days later, Adrien was ready to head off to college.

On a later date, specifically the 11th of August, it was time for Arinas birthday, which only Nate could attend, since Mari was visiting Adrien at college and Sophia was off on vacation with her family.

A few of my family members joined us that evening and it was like it was every year.

Arina wore a light pink breezy dress that was perfect for the rather unusually hot august day, while I wore a shirt and jeans, quite comfortable in the heat.

The party was pretty quiet, though music did play in the background and the chatter of people filled the otherwise silence.

Arina, Nathaniel and I ended up going on a video call with Sophia, Adrien and Marianna, chatting about the summer, how it had passed and all that.

"Arina! Wheres your cake? I want to see it.", Sophia exclaimed from her side, her eyes gleaming with excitement as usual.

"Oh, it should be in the kitchen. Wait a sec.", Arina said, bringing the phone with her to the kitchen as Nate and I followed behind.
