Chapter 24: Now what happens?

(Regulus's view)

I shot out of bed at the sound of Luci crying and sprinted into the next room where she lay in her crib and scooped her up.

"What's wrong mon amour?" I asked, as I sat down in the plush armchair next to the crib with her still in my arms.

She blinked up at me with a small smile which made me laugh softly.

"Are you hungry?" I asked, as I walked to the kitchen with her still in my arms and filled a bottle for her.

She simply smiled up at me with that sweet smile of hers and I sat down with her in my arms and began to feed her.

"You must've been starving, hmm?" I asked, as I continued feeding her the milk.

"What are you doing up?" a voice said, and I looked up with a smile as Sirius sat down next to me.

"Well, this little angel here got hungry and started crying so I made her some warm milk." I said, as we both smiled down at the baby.

"Did she now?" he asked, as he kissed her on the forehead.

"You silly goose." he cooed, as he took her and the bottle from me before giving her some more milk making my smile widen.
