Levi's POV

After forty five minutes Marco came back with a clipboard he looked at it with a concerned face before looking to Eren who was fast asleep face snuggled into my neck. His breathing was laboured and his cheeks were flushed bright red.

"I'm sorry but we need to wake him up this is really important, " Marco spoke as he walked closer to the bed taking a seat on the stool.

I nodded before gently moving some of Eren's hair lifting the few damp loose strands from his forehead. I gently placed a kiss to his cheek before shaking his shoulder slightly.

"Hey baby you need to wake up Marcos back," I whispered as he began to stir. His eyes fluttered open still looking glassy as he looked up at me before looking to Marco and giving him a weak smile.

"Hi Eren sorry to wake you but I need to talk to you about something, its about your dad and what he did. " Marco spoke as he scooted closer to the bed. I looked at them both confused that Marco new what had happened.

"When Eren was here last time I saw all of his scars and he told me everything, it was during his treatment that he told me his dad injected him with all kinds of things, Armin doesn't know everything about it he just knows his dad abused him, " he explained. I calmed down and was glad that he new what had happened I felt I could trust him with anything even though I had known him for only a few hours.

"Okay Eren so we had a look at your bloods and I was right there is definitely an abnormality there, from what I can tell it looks like you have some sort of extra substance within your blood and I'm concerned that it may be something that your dad gave you. Do you have any idea what it was that he was giving you?" Marco asked raising his hand up to his chin as he spoke.

Eren tensed up against my chest and I rubbed soothing circles into his lower back with my thumbs knowing it would calm him down to know that I was close.

He took a deep breath before speaking, "H-he kept on saying it was an experimental serum.... that it would help me when I get older," he spoke slowly trying to control his breathing. He coughed slightly before continuing, "that it would make me strong and help when I get a boyfriend..... H-he new that I was gay when I was pretty young... I always thought he was punishing me for it."

He took a few deep breaths before his breath hitched and he started coughing again, I passed him a tissue which he held close to his mouth as he coughed up a small amount of blood. Eren looked up to me weakly clearly still feeling tired, he leaned against my chest as he tried to catch his breath.

"All I know is that he said it would change my body.... but he used to inject me with something.... t-that would make my body burn up like this.... I would always g-get really ill w-whenever he used it..." Eren was now crying clinging onto my arms that were delicately wrapped around his waist. I passed him a tissue so he could dry his eyes and placed gentle kisses to his shoulder.

"Okay thank you Eren, we think that he was using some kind of poison on you called Amazatitan that flares up every now and then because it was never treated. We have an anti-toxin for it luckily. We are going to admit you onto my ward and start treatment straight away with an IV it should hopefully calm down how you are feeling and if I'm right it will treat you completely. But in regards to the other serum I have no idea and I wanted to get your permission to run a few tests to try and figure out what it did. Obviously you getting better is my top priority right now but we need to know what it did incase that serum makes you unwell also." Marco spoke as he looked down at his clipboard and wrote down a few notes. He smiled and stood up before quickly walking out of the cubicle. I heard him talking to a nurse before asking for Eren to be taken up to B Ward.
