When I wake up There is a box on the end of my bed. When I open it It contains a black kefta that is embroidered with gold thread. So he finally made me wear black. I put it on and go to breakfast.
After breakfast, scrambled eggs, and herring yuck, I go down to Baghra's hut. When I got down there, I hear voices. As I knock on the door and enter, I see the darkling looking furiously at Baghra. "You can't control me, old women." "I can certainly try.". "What's going on?' I ask. The darkling turns to me, "We're going to Tisebeya tomorrow, we're going to find the stag." "Not if I can help it," Baghra grumbles. "We're going, you can't stop it you despicable woman." the darkling spits back. "Fine. Go. Ruin the world." Baghra says, poking the darkling in the knee. He glares at her, then turns to me, "There will be a heavy cloak on you bed tomorrow, put it on and go to the summoners temples, I will wait for you there." "Alright." "Oh, and tell Zoya and Genya, they're coming too," he says closing the door behind him. "No lesson today girl, why are you still standing there." "sorry." Later that day I go to find Genya and Zoya. I find Genya first. "Oh hi Alina, what are you doing?" "Tring to find you" I say relaying the darklings message. "Ok," she says "do you want me to help you get ready?" "Sure thanks!" "No problem," she says walking off. I find Zoya practicing keeping a kite up in the air. I wait for her to stop and walk up to her. "What do you want, Starkov," she says. "To deliver a message." "Alright lets not be here all day, what is it." I quickly tell her the darklings message. "Alright Starkov, now leave me alone." "With pleasure." As I walk away she continues to practice.
That night I sleep restlessly tossing and turning. I dream of the stag, and how it doesn't know it's going to die soon. I also dream of Mal and wonder if he is still mad at me. And also what the darkling wants with me.
