Ok I think you will enjoy this chapter because it houses more characters like Tas, his abilities I mean. Its told from the prospective of one of these mutants, and gives insights to the future..................
That dream again, the man in the field, he is my enemy but I feel a connection with him. We fight in sync, he slips up, misses, and I go in for the killing blow. My blade crashes through his chest and out his back causing an ocean of blood to spray out. I pull my blade out of his chest and his arm starts returning to normal and his blood is pouring out. Suddenly I'm surrounded by bodies and the figures is among them. They are all slashed up and in shreds. A young girl stands alone scared out of her mind. I approach her and raise my blade above her. I think: what has she done to feel my wrath. My I uncontrolably raise my blade and try to make myself stop but I can't, no matter what I try I can't stop it. Was this all caused because of the figures death. Before I could react the blade crashes down and cuts the little girl in half. Now I'm looking back at myself, not a man anymore but a monster.

I awake to my room in my master's lair, atop the Empire State Building. I don't remember much of my past but I do remember my first name.

Caleb, I have untamed black hair and I am a 17 year old. I only seem to remember one thing that happened only a month ago, the creature attacking me and the man in the uniform saving me. Now I'm here in a cell, built into an area, where only one man watches from behind dark windows. No I must prove myself again, now I must defeat all of the others again, now I must be the last one standing. My cell door opens revealing a hallway, the same hallway I have walked several times, the hall that led to so much death. I made my way down the hall to the blood stained arena and waited at the big, iron, door. The door slid up and opened exposing the fresh meat that were my competitors. We walked out into the room, large in size, a complete circle with the large metal doors all around it and across from me, the big door that led to freedom. Above it was the glass window covered in shadows with the singular figure who always watched. The bell rang and the blood bath began, though most did not know the full extent of their abilities like I did. Some used smaller versions of the large blade that was my right arm, others used mutated body armor that was incomplete and others used a muscle bound mutation. As the first of the 20 or so people involved launched at me with a small blade I quickly blocked his blow then cut its body in half diagonally. The remaining fighters all turned to me and got together as to fight a common foe. I allowed my left arm to also turn into a blade and made my mutant armor that was complete enclose and cover my body over my clothes. The mob circled around me and one by one they came at me only to be slashed into pieces. Soon only three remained, one of which had seemed to master increasing his muscle and bone strength, likely a veteran to this like me. The other two ran at me with their smaller blades, and clashed together with my blades. While the two new people holding my blades still the muscle mass competitor ran forward and knocked me to the ground. The two who were holding me busy now focused on holding my blades down. The muscle mass competitor now was on top of me hammering my head with his hands.
My armor can't hold him off forever I have to end this right now.

I focused and made all of the armor on my body to shoot off in spines impaling the three multible times killing them in an instant. They all fell limp still stuck in my tendrils as they retracted back. Slowly my body went back to its original shape. I stood up quickly and looked up at the glass where the man was standing but no longer housed his presence. The metal door below the glass slowly opened revealing the man in uniform.

"Nicely done subject 43, you have proven yourself worthy of the job I am about to give you." He said as he walked forward.

"Looks like we didn't need 500 subjects after all, I must say I had my doubts at first, but after beating Nate, aka subject 4, I have no doubts you will do fine. But for now you are free to roam the complex, just know that when I call for you, you will obey." He said before walking away.
Now I want to rest, I will find a worthy rival eventually.........
