Chapter 6 I Love Some Risk

Tony's Pov:

"Are you ever going to like...I don't know make a move?" I blinked and looked at Clint confused.

"I...just walked over here." I said.

"No...on your damn soulmates." Clint said.

"Oh." I said. "I...can I get back to you on that?" I asked.

"Good luck Clint...he's been avoiding that topic." Bruce said from the other side of the room.

"I am not." I said.

"You are." Bucky said from the couch. "Doing a terrible job at it to." He said.

"I..." I frowned.

"So...why aren't you making a move?" Clint asked and I groaned frustrated before my head hit the table hard enough I made some of the stuff raddle on it. "Ow." Clint said.

"Tony?" Bucky asked.

"What's wrong?" Bruce asked as I felt my embarrassment flair to life.

"I...I don't know what to do." I mumbled.

"What?" Clint asked.

"I've only dated Pepper!" I shouted and they blinked. "I don't know how to..." I trailed off.

"Oh dude...that's adorable and sad." Clint said and heard him make an oof noise...I looked up to see Bruce and Bucky glaring at him.

"They...also don't seem very...interested." I mumbled.

"They may think they don't deserve you." Bucky said.

"True...they did a lot of bad stuff Tony." Bruce said.

"They're interested...Strange asked if you did the cute Omega shit." I blinked and looked at Clint.

"Cute Omega shit?" I asked.

"Like scenting." Bruce said.

"And Nesting...cuddling." Clint said.

"He did seem really interested by that." Bruce blinked.

"Maybe cause Loki isn't into that stuff so he's looking for it from Tony." Bucky said.

"Dude...Alpha's don't cuddle." Clint said and Bucky laughed.

"Bullshit...I loved cuddling Howard. We love to hold our mates cause we know they're safe in our arms." Bucky said.

"Steve doesn't seem cuddly." Clint said.

"I have seen Rhodey and Sam cuddling...Nat says T'Challa cuddles but not in front of others." Bruce said.

"Some of us like it...some of us are dumbasses and thinks it makes us look weak." Bucky said.

"So what...just let my inner Omega out?" I asked.

"Can you even do that?" Clint asked.

"Yes..." I said.

"Seriously?" Bruce asked and I frowned.

"Yeah...I force it down a lot but the urges are there..." I said. "Problem though." I said.

"What?" Clint asked.

"My Omega is scared of them." I said and they all frowned.

"Why?" Bruce asked.

"You sank." Clint said.

"Yeah and that was...one time..." I said...It doesn't fix that he had forced me under and they've both hurt me.

"I doubt Strange is a cuddler." Clint said and I knew exactly what he was doing but for some reason I knew it help.

"Wanna bet?" I asked. Bruce and Bucky looking confused between us.

"Sure...my pudding cups says he's not a cuddler." Clint said and I blinked surprised cause now I wasn't sure if Clint was playing...Clint loved pudding.

"You know what...deal but what do you want in return if I lose?" I asked.

"Um...extra pudding." Clint said and I snorted.

"You're on." I said and he grinned.

Stephen's Pov:

"Why are you staring?" I asked cracking my eye open to glare at Steve.

"Just trying to figure out what you're up to." He said.

"I'm meditating." I said.

"Sure." Steve said.

"Steve leave him alone." Sam said and I closed my eyes...Alright...back to clearing my mind...peaceful quiet...breath in...out...in...o-Omega? I know that scent anywhere.

"Tony, what are you doing?" Rhodey asked.

"I'm curious." I heard before startling when a weight was on my folded legs...I stared at Tony confused cause...he's in my lap.

"Hi...I was honestly curious if you'd keep floating." He said...Uh...say something Strange.

"Of course...I wouldn't drop you." I said.

"So if anyone else had done this you'd have just dropped them?" He asked...uh...I tensed when he wrapped his arms around my neck. "You also looked cozy." He said and my heart skipped as he curled into me.

"Aw." Sam said and Steve glared at me...I held Tony to make sure he didn't fall...yeah...that's why...I suddenly felt worried cause what if he was on the edge and that's why he was here...Welp...I moved and he startled as we were now in the library.

"Oh...hu..." He blinked.

"Are you alright?" I asked worried and then noticed Loki looking at us with a raised brow.

"Yeah." Tony said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah...I just..." Tony trailed off and bit his lip. "I wanted to maybe...cuddle." He whispered the last word but I heard it and my inner Alpha purred cause Tony had came to me for cuddles.

"Oh...ok." I said and pulled him closer before lifting him and stretching my legs...the cloak understanding and becoming a hammock.

"Oh...this is nice." Tony said and I chuckled.

"It...is." I said softly and purred as I nuzzled the Omega making him chuckle. You're beautiful...this won't last...eventually you'll leave again...I don't know how long we laid there but it was relaxing...calming...

"Did...he fall asleep?" I blinked and checked...Tony had in fact fell asleep on me...he mumbled something and nuzzled into my chest making my heart melt.

"Didn't Bruce say he was in the lab all night?" I asked softly trying not to wake my sweet little mate.

"He did...Why and how did this happen?" Loki asked walking over grinning. "It's rather cute." He said.

"I don't know he said he wanted to cuddle. What are you smiling at?" I asked.

"Your eyes are the warm gold they get when you love something." Loki grinned and I gave him a look.

"Lo...this could be dangerous." I said and he raised a brow. "You know how we get...You know how bad this could be...how dangerous this is." I said.

"Oh love...I love a little bit of risk." Loki grinned and I frowned. "Plus he's not the one that will get hurt." Loki said and looked at me. "You are." He said studying me. "You're the one that mates for life..." He said and I swallowed. "So this...is up to you." He said.

"I can't....you know I can't...I'm not..." I sighed and he frowned. "Everything in me wants to keep him...hold him...make sure he's safe and healthy." I said and Loki hummed.

"Then it seems like you've made your decision." Loki said.

"Not really a decision...I didn't get to pick anything...My Alpha and dragon half made sure of that." I said.
