I'd played with the table cloth for nearly thirty minutes by the time Ally returned from the restroom. Pondered how I felt about Zach at this particular time, learned I didn't feel very great about our dilemma. "This is a very nice restaurant." She finally spoke. I nodded my head. "You're not going to keep letting him bother you." She sighed. "Maybe he was on the phone with his mother." Maybe he was. Also maybe when I texted her and ask she replied no without remembering. Maybe she just didn't process what I was asking. Then again, maybe he was on the phone with Lilly. Maybe he invited her.

Reality sucks.

"Maybe." I left my answer alone. There was no reason to get everyone worked up. I could've went further into explanation and had them pissed off too. Am I pissed off or am I just upset?

Maybe I'm just tired. I'd always be tired if Zach had something to do with it. He sucked the life out of me. Made me want to give up on several occasions. I wanted to continue to fight for my well being. It was fading though.

"Have they came to ask for our drinks?" Jake pulled out a chair to sit. I'd ask them earlier to wait on the last two people to be seated before coming to ask again. I shook my head and he sat back in his chair. The waitress would be here soon enough."you okay?"

The question was asking wether or not I was okay with the fact that I'm here, with my two best friends while my boyfriend was in our room on the phone. The voice that traveled through his speaker and met his sense of hearing was not mine. Matter of fact, I didn't know who's it was. I don't really think I want to know who it was. Jake tapped his finger on the glass of the table in front of me. The sound in itself got me to look at him. "Yeah. I'm fine. Are you okay?" He cleared his throat and sat back in his seat before the waitress walked over.

"What can I get for you guys to drink?" Her monotone led me to believe she'd ask that question a lot tonight. I'd hate this job. I'd never wanted to be a waitress.

"Water, please." I let my lips rise into a soft smile.

"Same." Ally ordered as she looked through her purse. I watched her fumble through a few things before pulling out a lipgloss.

"Pepsi." Jake glanced up at the lady. Her neutral color lips parted into a smile before she walked away, in a sort of different manner than she'd arrived. I stifled a laugh. "What?" Ally also smiled. She'd definitely caught on.

"She's glad we're in her section I guarantee." Ally stated. I laughed a little louder and covered my mouth.

"I agree. I'd say she was very impressed with your order, Jake. She seemed very interested in it." He blankly stared between us. He had no clue what we were referring to.

"What?" He looked back to where she was standing moments ago. "Did you guys know her?" He quizzed.

"No." Ally looked over to watch her come towards us with our drinks. "But I believe she wants to know you." The obvious was finally pointed out to the clueless boy.

"Like hell." He exclaimed seconds before she passed around our drinks. Confused the girl looked between the three of us before speaking. He seemed offended.

"Are you ready to order?" She spoke to all of us but looked only at Jake. He cleared his throat again for the night and looked over to me, grabbing my hand.

"Honey, do you know what you'd like yet?" The poor girls head nearly dropped as her tone changed. I offered another soft smile before looking down at the menu.

"She can order first I'm looking through sides." He reached back to rub my back and then placed his hand back on the menu.

"Ma'am, are you ready to order or would you like a few moments?" I glared over at Jake before giving her my order. The other two followed up and she scurried off. I kicked Jake under the table and he looked up at me.

"You didn't need to do that." I let him know.

"Yes I did." He looked in her direction. "I am not interested in her." His face held a disgusted resemblance. This time Ally kicked him. "I'm only being honest, nothing more." He was being an ass.

"You're being rude." Ally almost yelled.

"She's not pretty." We kicked at the same time. Each side one of his legs got kicked under the table. "Stop doing that." He complained, sternly. He had almost had enough.

"Well stop being rude." Ally stated. In a way, he shouldn't be rude. But also if he wasn't interested, he just wasn't interested. He said she wasn't pretty but she honestly was. Her hair was half up, half down. The updo consisted of a French braid that traveled into a messy bun and the rest of her hair feel into beach waves. It was platinum blonde and dark brown at the roots. She pulled off the shadow root well, something I couldn't do. Her lips were thick and neutral colored, her cheek bones were sharp. I'd only glanced at her eyes for a moment but they sparkled a hazel color. The only reason I could sense that Jake didn't find her attractive was the fact that she was nearly flat chested. I assumed it was mainly because of how small she was. The girl was probably five foot five and weighed all of ninety five pounds.

"I'm not being rude, I said that already. I'm just being honest. I am not interested." He was rubbing his leg as he spoke. I imagine it would be killing him by now. "She has no boobs, her smile was dull, look at her persona you guys. She wouldn't last two days with us." That may have been true. No one last with us normally. I don't understand why not.

"I wonder if the food is going to be any good? I've been to a few fancy restaurants back home and the food was so over rated." Ally nodded as she sipped her water.

"I hope so. I went to the restaurant across from the mall a few weeks ago with Ashley and that restaurant was terrible. We literally got dressed up, went there and ate food I wouldn't have bought if I'd known they were only charging an arm and a leg based off the fact it was a nice fancy restaurant. The food was borderline gross." She glanced around the restaurant. "I ate probably four bites all together but these people seem to be enjoying the food." I look around, she was right everyone seemed to be enjoying the things they'd ordered. I see a few around who'd stuck to the basic chicken strips and fries. I think that is hilarious because on the way down we had to convince Jake he wasn't aloud to order chicken strips and fries.

"Looks like it, yeah." I looked over to Jake who was scrolling through his phone. "Are you good?" He nodded.

"Bored. This lady needs to hurry her slow ass up." He seemed annoyed by something.

"Jake, she's a waitress. Not a cook." He shrugged his shoulders instead of saying he didn't care. "What is it with you finding out a female likes you and having to be so rude towards her?" He laughed and shook his head he didn't want to answer at all. Ally kept pestering him with her question. Like she honestly needed to know.

"I can't be rude to the girl I'm interested in. We've already dated. She already screwed me over. Now she's my best friend and I don't want to make her feel bad in any way. I also don't want to give another female a chance to do me like that."

"Jake!" She exclaimed.

"You asked." He seemed relaxed but looked over to me to be sure I wasn't panicking or upset. I only smiled. I didn't want to hurt.

"Perfect time for me to show up. How great to be left alone in the hotel room on the night we are supposed to have dinner together." I click my Lock Screen to look at the time.

"You're half an hour late. We would've missed our reservation." He pulled out the chair beside me.

"Besides Jake being a little bitch and whining about how Anna left him for me what's going on guys?" Zach was such a different person than he used to be. I could barely remember the person he was before now, but I know it isn't this.

"There she is with the food, you'll have to tell her what you want Zach." Ally spoke up as she watched the waitress move towards our table.
