The prince of Shivgarh, Yuvraj Veerbhadra Singh Rajput felt an unknown joy rising inside his body as his chest swelled with pride when he heard his loyal messenger, Trayambak Sharma telling him that Maharani Aparajita Singh Rathore had won the war valiantly and finally the king of Rajgarh, Maharaja Abhinandan Pratap Singh succumbed to her demand as he handed over his father to the young queen in the royal assembly of both the kingdoms.

At once, the prince was satisfied at the turn of events as he felt proud of the great queen proving himself in a patriarchal Rajputana society. However, the next thought that came up inside his mind confused him. The prince could not understand the reason of his joy. He wondered why he did not felt a pang of jealousy inside him when his messenger praised the swordsmanship skills of the queen.

A satisfying smile crept on his lips as he imagined Maharaja Dushyant Pratap Singh, the cunning old king of Rajgarh standing in front of his queen with his head hung in shame. However, at the same moment, he realized he should not be happy for the queen’s success after all, she is an enemy who brutally killed his beloved grandfather.

Snapping at himself for developing a soft corner for the mesmerizing queen of Vijaygarh, Maharani Aparajita Singh Rathore, the prince contemplated if he should go ahead with his plan of crumbling the arrogance of his goldfish or not. After contemplating for a long time, Yuvraj Veerbhadra Singh Rajput had fabricated a plan to ensure that the valiant queen of Vijaygarh regrets her existence but instead of feeling excited to implement it, he was feeling terrible for hurting the queen’s dignity.

In the dense forest, the prince Yuvraj Veerbhadra Singh Rajput was standing in front of his messenger, Trayambak Sharma and contemplating if he should really go ahead with his treacherous plan or not. Taking a deep breath, the prince closed his eyes and chided himself for deviating from his goals. He wondered he always wanted revenge against the queen but unknowingly, he was feeling something happening around him was not right.

Huffing in irritation at the conflict going inside his head, Veerbhadra explained his plan to Trayambak Sharma who gasped at him horrifically. For once, the sly minister of Vijaygarh pitied the queen and her dignity but as soon as the prince handed him a velvety pouch of gold coins, he smirked and nodded in affirmation. The greed for money was enough to persuade Trayambak to do commit the heinous crime Veerbhadra had asked him to do.

Despite knowing the consequences of his deeds won’t be good for the queen and Vijaygarh, Trayambak agreed to support Shivgarh in exchange of money.

Veerbhadra climbed on his horse and began to ride towards his kingdom. After all, he had to make preparations for implementing his devious plan. As his horse galloped through the dense forest making its way to the outskirts of Vijaygarh from where he would take the shortest route to Shivgarh, the prince Yuvraj Veerbhadra Singh Rajput was clearly zoned out. He was indeed, in a trance as conflicting thoughts came up in his mind.

An unknown voice inside him was continuously nagging him, warning him that whatever he was planning to do was terribly wrong. Somewhere in his heart, he felt that he was going to hurt his queen, his innocent goldfish and unknowingly an emotion of regret rose inside him. He continued to snap at that angelic voice inside him which tried to persuade him to stop before it gets too late.

With an idea to strengthen the resolve to seek revenge from Aparajita, the cold hearted murderer who killed his beloved grandfather, the prince tried hard to visualize the dead body of his late grandfather, Maharaja Mahendra Singh Rajput closing his eyes every now and then.

He kept on reiterating in his mind that it was the motto of his life to crumble the pride of seventeen year old queen who killed his grandfather and make sure she regrets her existence throughout her life.

However, much to his dismay whenever he closed his eyes, his vision was disrupted by the angelic face of the innocent queen with a mesmerizing smile. He could not help but remember the courageous yet, generous queen who did not think twice before saving him from the disguised dacoits.

An unknown turbulence rose inside his body as he remembered the glimpse of the carefree queen taking bath in the middle of the forest unknown to the miseries of the world.

An involuntary smile crept on his lips as he remembered the beautiful face of the queen. He sniffed the air around himself in the midnight as he reminisced the divine fragrance of his goldfish which he had relished when she had carried his injured body to the house of one of her trusted royals.

His facial features softened as he remembered her childlike innocent talks they had while sitting in the middle of the forest. His chest swelled in pride when he recalled her courageous act of climbing the gigantic gopuram of the temple in the annual procession of Vijaygarh.

He could not help but curse the sly king of Rajgarh, Maharaja Dushyant Pratap Singh who conspired to kill her mother. It was then, he realized he was falling for the valiant queen of Vijaygarh, Maharani Aparajita Singh Rathore.

The prince was flabbergasted to realize that he had fallen for his sworn enemy, a cold hearted murderer behind an angelic face. After knowing the reasons of his unhappiness despite he was close to seek revenge from his enemy, he got furious at himself. He wanted to shout and curse himself. He wanted to slap himself for the unpardonable sin he had committed.

He was ashamed of falling in love with a cold hearted murderer who had brutally killed his adored grandfather. He was feeling suffocated to have stooped so low that he was attracted to the enticing antics of his enemy. He had got a terrible headache and it seemed as if someone was hammering inside his head when he reached his palace late at night.

Running to his bed chambers, the prince, Yuvraj Veerbhadra Singh Rajput stood in front of the mirror and shrieked, “Aparajita, you little minx! You will regret doing this to me”.

His eyes were red in fury and his muscular body was drenched in sweat. With enraged eyes and appalling expressions on his face, the prince of Shivgarh looked dangerous and dreadful.

Banging his head on the beautifully painted walls of his chambers, he reiterated to himself, “You have to take revenge against that little minx who killed your grandfather, Veer”.

Trying to explain himself that whatever he was doing shall bring justice for his late grandfather, the prince sat on the couch and poured an intoxicating ale in a glass made of pure silver. He needed alcohol in his system to clear his mind.

Constantly mumbling to himself that he must seek revenge against the queen who murdered his grandfather, Yuvraj Veerbhadra Singh Rajput drank the alcohol till the point he passed out on the royal upholstered couch of his bed chambers.
