chapter 15: big bro, little sis.

~ that night ~

San started getting worried for his baby sister as she nor any of her friends or little brother came back. "Chae, do you think they'll be ok?" He whispered to his other sister as she nodded. "Though, I'm worried to. Mom might be extra worried though." She said as the young girl looked out the window. "Yeonjun's not back either which makes it worse. Do you think we should find them?" Asked Chae-nun. San shook his head no as he slightly pulled his brown hair with a blonde highlight out of the way.

"They'll be back in 3 . . . . 2 and~" San then paused as their younger siblings bursted through the door along with Tao who turned back into a lamb. "Guys!!!" Chae-nun yelled as she hugged her younger siblings. "Ow, unnie your squishing me!!!" Said Nina as she muffled while Chae-nun let go, happy to see that her siblings and their lamb were safe. "Where's Luko?" She asked. "He's in the forest with the herd, I think." Yeonjun answered. "You never told me that your horse had a herd-" "HOW DID YOU EVEN KNOW THAT I RIDE?!" Nina yelled as she froze while dropping Tao.

San then pointed to Chae-nun as she blushed while Nina puffed up her cheeks. "I swear, you guys are gonna start world war three at this point." Said Tao as he sat up. "But otherwise, thank God that you guys are safe. Where were you anyway?" Asked San. Nina dashed off to her room along with Tao as she then sighed and sat down in front of the closed door.

San then looked at his brother and sister worriedly. "Does she still not trust me?" He asked. "If you know Nina when meeting new people, then yeah." Chae-nun answered. "Still, where were you guys?" Asked San. "Uhhhh um!" The little brother stuttered.

~ a few minutes later ~

"Oh c'mon, tell me guys. I've been away for four years for college, been to the U.S. for english speaking, to riding school for a while, and came back . . . . . . . . . . . . What's up?" He asked. Chae-nun and Yeonjun looked at eachother nervously as they then pulled him to Chae-nun's bedroom while Tao galloped over to Nina room and his hoof on her door. "Ni, are you ok in there?" He asked. "Who's out there?" "It's Tao." Nina then opened the door as she let Tao trot in.

"Everything ok?" He asked as he watched her take her flower crown and white ribbon off and set it on her desk. "Nope." The young girl bluntly answered. Tao then quickly changed into his human form and touched Nina's shoulder. "Is it about San?" He asked, Nina nodded. "And the Kwon-seo thing, and Luko, and this whole pakari thing!!!" She said. Nina then started to speak up about the whole thing and how she was actually really worried.

"Now my own family is getting into it, I'm scared that Grandpa Kim might hurt you guys, the noises could be gun shots, HE MIGHT EVEN EXPERIMENT ON YOU I DON'T KNOW, I'M FREAKING SCARED AND THE TOURNAMENTS ARE COMING UP TOO FOR ALICE AND TORI AND AND-" Tao then held a hand up as Nina went silent. "Sit down." He said. Tao then ruffled Nina's hair as he softly smiled at her. "First off, Grandpa Kim wouldn't even be able to experiment on us anyway I'm their bodyguard technically. Two, we don't know what those sounds are. And three, Nina calm down and talk to your brother about it already. We all may be a secret, but you can't hide it forever." Tao then looked at Nina as he were her older brother.

. . . . . . . . . "Plus, your giving a bunch- to many signs."

Nina froze as Tao giggled at her frightened figure. "All jokes aside, just talk to him. He's your brother, he'll understand you just like we do." The young teen stayed quiet for a moment before nodding. Tao ruffled her hair again and hugged in his strong arms for the first time before slightly letting go.  "Atta girl! Now, go talk to him so that I can look for my butt in dragon form."

"Wait what-"

"Nothing!"

"Both a yandere and a Weirdo."
