with no eliminations, the last episode ended with everybody content. producer stages followed soon after, and the contestants had voted for the best performance between the producer teams. afterward, the rappers got to choose which team they wanted to be a part of.
the order in which the contestants chose their desired team went from those with the lowest fight money to the highest. that meant that eunbyeol was waiting for a while until she was called.
holding the card that had her stage name on top, she stood in front of the four doors which had the producer teams on the other side. lights came on under each of the teams' names, signaling that the four all wanted her to join their team.
nucksal's voice sounded as he asked her, "which producer stage was your favorite?"
eunbyeol scratched the back of her neck.
"i really liked swings and giriboy's.." she sheepishly answered. "but i definitely can't choose a favorite."
"if you join our team, i'll introduce you to haon," said code kunst.
a laugh emitted from the female and she looked like she was actually considering it. but deep down, she already knew which team she wanted to join from the start.
once she took her spot and nodded to the production staff, they announced that the teams could open their doors.
swings and paloalto went first. right as swings opened the door, he shut it just as quick with his tongue poking his right cheek in faux annoyance. paloalto let out a deep exhale and shook his head to code kunst after seeing an empty spot in front of him.
next was the quiett and deepflow.
"if xiao isn't on the other side of this door, i'm going to quit show me the money," the latter announced, making everyone laugh.
opening the doors, deepflow clicked his tongue and the quiett opened his arms at the sight of the girl. she held up an illionaire hand sign which caused him to grin widely.
"there's the gold star!" changmo cheered, standing up. "you chose the right team."
when the two got closer to changmo, he ruffled her hair and switched her name card for a current member's.
after another moment of congratulations, she was sent to the room where the other rappers were. there, she was greeted by the boys before coogie, d.ark, superbee, and dongmin noticed the name card in her grasp.
"oh, god," d.ark murmured, visually slouching his shoulders.
"dongmin-ah, i'm sorry.."
eunbyeol frowned but was pulled into a hug by the said boy, the other three joining in.
"we'll work hard for you!" superbee told him.
since eunbyeol was the last contestant to be chosen, all of them were then instructed to head out. there, they rejoined their designated producer teams on the same platform used when the rappers were choosing their opponents for the three-way battle in the very beginning.
eunbyeol was standing in the middle of the quiett and coogie with her hands stuffed into the pockets of her jacket.
"team the quiett and changmo, what's the strong point of these four team members?" he asked into the mic.
"we're the youngest," answered changmo. "being young means that we can be the freshest."
the question was directed to the fellow teams down the line and after swings explained their group, jinpyo went on to explain the benefit given for the most-voted producer stages.
first place: the quiett & changmo were given ₩2,000,000.
second place: deepflow & nucksal were given ₩1,500,000.
third place tied: code kunst & paloalto and giriboy & swings were both given ₩700,000.
"since the group selections are finished, the real team mission begins! it's a song mission that will take place in hong kong!"
