Betty's POV

My twin absolutely hated my guts. I don't know what I did to her. She just always has. I've tried reconciling, and it works for about 2 days before she stops and turns into a bitch again. Anything I tried to do, she would do first. And apparently I was copying her cause "I was a desperate nobody"

The only thing I did that she didn't know about was a little tattoo. Just a small flower blossom on the base of my neck. I luckily didn't need parental permission because Toni did it.

(I know Betty's dad was a physco serial killer but let's pretend he was a good dad in this story thanks :l )
My dad and I actually had a pretty good relationship before he died in a car crash 2 years ago when I was 15. I missed him alot. My mom always had Jade as a favorite tho. She always got everything that she wanted.

She was a smart, funny, popular girl who had her short hair in a curls down to her shoulders wearing crop tops and tight jeans, while I was the nerdy, boring girl who always had my hair in a ponytail wearing pastel sweaters and liked to write at the schools newspapwer. My dad tried his best to cheer me up. "Betty, you deserve the world. Dont froget that." He always told me. I didn't want the world, just friends and people I loved. Wich I had for a little while.

Until he died and my mom just left me by myself while she took my sister out every night for the first three months after his death because she was "greiving" and shopping took her mind off of it. My only comfort was my best friend Jughead, my cousin Cheryl and her girlfriend Toni.

Cheryl's the reason I have the blossom on my neck. Toni did the tattoo and I got it cause Cheryl helped me stop cutting, and I haven't since I was 15. I'm 17 now. I still have the scars on my arms, but they're faint. I liked having that small reminder of what she did for me. Cheryl and Toni are the only ones who knew about the tattoo.

Oh that's right Jughead. I had loved him for years now. My cousin knew, obviously. I told her everything. And that's how Jade found out. Cheryl was spending the night and I was telling her about how I was going to tell Jughead I liked him when I realised Jade was standing at the door, an evil smile on her face.

The next day she asked him out, and they started dating. That was only a few months ago, and I hated seeing them together, cuddling on the couch in the living room watching a movie or kissing with her on his lap. But I waved at them and quickly ran up the stairs to my room without catching Jugs eye. Now I could never tell him. I'd just be the bitch trying to get my sisters boyfriend. But I had to see him tonight. Cheryl was having a party at her huge ass house and begged me too come, saying I needed to get over jughead. I guess she was right.

I looked in my closet and chose something a little out of my comfort zone, and I knew Cheryl would love me wearing it, since she got it for me.
It was a red lacy shirt that had long loose sleeves with a matching black skirt that went down to my knees. I looked in the mirror after I had it on and a actually liked it. I put a little mascara on and some red lipstick, vividly reminding me of my sweet cousins signature look. I got a pair of red flats from my closet and curled my hair a little before grabbing my purse and heading out the door.

I figured Jade was already there with Jughead, and I felt my blood boil for no reason. What did he see in her? She was a terrible person but hid it from everyone at school.

I preferred to walk from my house to Cheryl's as it was 10 minutes away. And besides, if I ended up getting drunk I could just crash over there before walking home in the morning since she had a spare bedroom that I always slept in. I got there and saw Jade sitting on Jugheads leg laughing at something he said while twirling her hair a round a finger. The sight made me roll my eyes and walk faster to the door. Once inside I found cheryl on the couch talking to Toni when she saw me and got up to talk to me. Cheryl had on a short sleeved red shirt with a white collar and a white skirt down to her knees. Toni had a sleeveless black crop top, black Jean's with rips at the knees and a black beanie over her pink and brown hair. They both looked comfortable in what they chose, unlike me.
