Thanksgiving Day rolled around sooner than anyone expected. The weather was still beautiful, and the wonderful smell of food filled the Admiral's neighborhood. Kayla was greeting everyone as they entered the house. Lori had eaten earlier that day with her family, but she stopped by, and of course she and Kayla were inseparable again. Khris, his mom Kaimana and his dad Admiral Terrence, had all shown up as expected. It was an awkward reunion, but Kayla was happy to see her friend Khris was doing well. And Lori and Khris began flirting with one another from the moment they saw each other, almost like no time had passed at all. Admiral Niko, Deshawn, Angela, and Jaden arrived with several pots and pans. Johnathon also stopped by. He was a SEAL, MT and Deshawn's friend and Chase's ex-friend, whose family lived in Chicago, so he decided to come. Kayla remembered him from her father's barbecue 10 years ago, and at the bar that night, but she hadn't seen him for awhile . She hated that his first impression of her again was that horrible night, but she memory he seemed really nice, and greeted her like they were meeting again for the first time.
