I could hear the noises. But my vision was blurry and I couldn't find the muscles to move my legs. Or my head even. I just wanted to go home.

The voices were mumbled and I groaned. I couldn't even tell where I was at. All I knew is I wasn't in my tree cave and I wasn't where I wanted to be. Chances were pretty slim that I was on my way home. Or even better, Washington.

I could feel myself being pushed and pulled around. I could only grumble and take the wrath of whomever was doing this to me.

It wasn't long before I was strapped into a chair and in a dark room. I hung my head low and tried to find my breaths.

Ice. Ice cold liquid splashed me, clearing my vision and making me aware of where my body was.

The room was small and dark. The only light source from a lamp that was coming from behind me. There were no windows. One wooden door. And three men standing in fromt of me.

"Ah, Luna," The one said, hands behind his back. His smirk was one that would want a woman to rip it off. "Slayer, What shall you go by?" He asked.

I stayed silent and stared into his eyes. He didn't look like he wanted to kill me. But he had motives and I wasn't sure how far he'd go until he got what he wanted.

"No? Well, I'll call you Cassadee. That is what your mate calls you. Correct?"

I fought to lunge at him. They all laughed a bit.

"What the hell do you want?" I spat out, testing the ties around my wrists and ankles.

He tapped his chin, fake thinking. He then came close to me and down to my level.

"I'll tell you what I want, my dear, I want money. Land. My packs' loved ones. And how can I achieve all of that?"

It didn't take a scientist to figure it out.

"I'll tell you. You. I can trade you in for about all of that.I can get everything-"

"Don't you even think about it. What am I worth? I'll tell you something, you little prick, I'm only worth a few hundred on the black market. So, I can find vampires. Sue me. My mate's an Alpha. Couldn't choose that. But, I can damn well guarantee that if someone else takes me from here, they're going to either kill me, kill you, or both. So, let's make a deal?"

I wasn't sure how I thought of that. It kind of all spewed out at once.

Being a bitch made me kind of miss my high school days. I never took shit from anybody. I didn't get to live much of that. In a sick, sadistic way, this was like my childhood. I only wished I had appreciated what little childhood I had before all of this.

The mad tilted his head, arms crossed. "Yeah? What kind of deal?"

I thought, "Well, you want land, money, and people. Am I right?" He nodded, "Well, I need to get somewhere without certain people finding out. Let's make deal,"

"Keep talkin',"

Shit, I wasn't sure what else to say.

"You help me get to Washington, without getting caught by anyone, I'll give you a place in the pack. I'll give you all of my money, some from the pack. We can work out the land thing too."

He thought about my proposition. He then smiled, "Alright, how can I help get you to Washington?"

I smiled, "We can discuss this, once you unbind me,"

After a little more talk, he finally cut my loose. I sighed and grabbed my wrists, that were now a bloody mess.

"Since now we are more like business partners, where are we?"
