———"GUESS WHO I BROUGHT~?"
"The blader who refuses to participate in any of the tournament matches?" Shinki grumbled, irritated. "I hope."
"Oh, I guess you don't want Y/N here—"
"Y/N—I-I didn't mean that!"
"Y/N's here?" Gabe asked. "Where is she?"
"Either towards the end of her life, or future's bliss." The hazel gal smirked, rolling up her sleeves one by one. The other members just finished their time in launches and was now transitioning to their individual times on the machines.
"Who's up for some arm wrestling, boys?" She laughed.
"Waitwaitwait—what did you say?!"
"Ohhhhhhh, nothin'."

"I said," the long cords whipped against the ground. I shriek as it slams against the ground, forming a dent that could've inflicted on my skull instead. The thundering sound echoing through the bare room. "Don't bother me during my trai—"
"I-I'm," My arms and hands instantly went to cover my face, a defense mechanism in anticipation of another scare. "—s-sorry!"
The thing flew back at the speed of a launched arrow, precisely at the exact time when he spun his head around.
"Y/N—what the hell are you doing here?!" Lui let go of the dark handles, rushing over. "Did Akio shove you in here?!"
"I-I...um—y-yes—"
"That...that stupid—!"
He promptly grabbed my arms, straightening them up after jerking them down. He then turned them side to side. Once that was satisfactory to him, his violet eyes gazed up to my own. I was standing there, still frozen in shock.
"You're not hurt are you—did I hit you?"
"N-No, I'm fine—I just entered..."
Relief washed over his face. I felt him loosen up as the sturdy grip on my wrists were released. The male took a few steps back.
I slowly brought my shaking hands close to my chest again, eyes widen and stomach swarming full of fluttering butterflies while I heated up...
The only thing keeping me cool was the bottle of water in my hand.
"O-Oh—here."
