Trouble in Paradise (BrightWin Fanfic)

BRIGHT'S POV

When I told Win it was a looong night, I meant it. We were planning to actually not sleep at all, or I do. I wanted to make the most out of the time I have with Win. He also kind of makes me want to go back to the city, but my life being the worst, I can't go back until it's school time again which is in three more weeks. 

"We can still see each other back in Manila" Win said when he was starting to argue with me that he wanted to sleep already. 

"I know but that would take a long time before it actually happens" I said. 

"We're not doing anything anymore, why do you like me around?" He asked. 

I was quiet for a little while, there's no point in lying to him anymore that is why I decided to just tell him the truth...

"I don't know Win, I just feel at ease with you around, a safe space, a free space... You feel like sunshine even though everywhere I look in my life is just chaos." I said. 

"What are you two whispering about?" Krist interrupted when he noticed us. 

"Yeah, it's like you both have your own world." Film said and giggled. 

"Just telling him about how fake ya'll are" I sarcastically said and laughed with them. 

We were all talking and joking around about college life... they were so fond of Win being a pre-law student. He sure is smart and hardworking, I see him very successful in the future. 

"You've gotta be kidding me, you watch that series too?" Love exclaimed with excitement in her voice. 

"Of course, It's one of the best" Win said and smiled. 

They seem to get along really well... I smiled at that, at least, my friends likes him. It proves him more that he is actually easy to like and get along with. It was a chill night with them, we didn't really got ourselves drunk, just enough to have fun. 

"I'm gonna need to go back to my healthy diet soon, I'm gonna be consisting of 80% alcohol after this trip" Film said which made us all laugh. 

"We need this kind of vacations for once in a while, it is very relaxing and healing for the mind. No wonder Bright was itching to go here ever since the semestral break started." Singto said and I smirked at that thought. 

"I told you... paradise." I said and smiled. 

It was almost five in the morning when they couldn't fight the sleepiness anymore and we decided to head back to the villa. As we were cleaning-up, I saw Win and Love a little distant from us and it got me curious because Win was whispering something to Love and she was nodding like they were exchanging promises or something, I shrugged it off and volunteered to accompany Win to his room. 

"Sooo... what are you and Love talking about a while ago?" I asked while we were walking. 

"School... you were beside me" He said. 

"Not that... while we were cleaning up, you were kind of distant." I said.
