chapter 19

JaZyion POV

Brianna and me are supposed to go to Casey's tomorrow with some more stuff, but my class was canceled today so we might as well start today. Since Brianna is off today we're planning on having a slumber party with Casey. I know she's been extremely emotional, upset, and uncomfortable in her last trimester in her pregnancy, so hopefully we can make her feel better.

"We going to the store first or are we picking her up?" I asked Brianna as we walked outside to get in my car. "I think we should go to the store first, we already know her and the baby's favorites, and she might not wanna ride to the store" Brianna said getting into the drivers seat. "All good" I said while looking at my phone texting Jermaine. I've always been cool with him, but we text everyday now, about any leads with Azure's case, about Amarion, about anything. I just let him vent to me, and when I'm having a melt down, I vent to him. "We should go check on ma too" Bri said breaking me out of thoughts. "Yeah, we should. I haven't even talked to my Mom, she didn't answer when I called her" I said looking at her. "Should we go there first?" She asked me before heading in the direction of the grocery store. "Yeah" I said calling my mom's phone again. I was trying to act like it wasn't bothering me, but this is the 3rd phone call that my mom hasn't answered. I called her house phone and her cellphone. I hope that she's doing okay. I haven't heard from my #1 lady in two days. If she's at home just not answering she gone get in trouble.

When we got to my mom's she explained that she was out of town and had mistakenly left her cellphone at home. She went to go visit Azure parents graves and talk to them. She also cleaned them up a little and left new flowers, the ones Azure left were now old. She didn't want to go because that was something she and Azure did together, but her heart was telling her to go.

She explained that she felt like she had let her sister down by not protecting Azure. It hurt me to my core to see by mom's broken like that.

The way Brianna just went to her and protected her made me realize, that the thought I was having about marrying her had to happen. She's so amazing, so strong, so sweet, and so supportive. Brianna is by future wife, if it ain't her, I don't want nobody. I want to propose to her, but I don't want to get turned down, I don't think I'll be able to take it if she did. Brianna fussed at my mom for the messy house and the fact she hadn't eaten properly. I couldn't do anything but laugh, nobody fussed at by mom's, not even Azure crazy ass. They both went upstairs and Brianna ran my mom a hot bubble bath while I cleaned up and Brianna cooked mom something to eat. When mom came back down she looked so much better, she looked relaxed. She hugged Bri and kissed her cheek. "Thank you" she whispered to her.

After we ate breakfast with my mom we headed to Casey's house. "I thought we were just going to go pick up the food." Brianna said looking up from her phone seeing what direction I was going in. "Yeah, I know, but something isn't right" I said. "What do you mean baby" she asked me reaching over and grabbing my hand. "I don't know love, I just feel in my heart something is wrong with Casey, or the baby" I said kissing the back of her hand. "Well, my aunt Lucy always said go with your first mind" she said rubbing the back of my hand. "Stop stressing, everything will be just fine. God got us, okay?" She said leaning over and kissing by cheek softly. "Yes ma'am" I said smiling at her. That's something else I love about her, she's so positive, I can't help but love this girl. I texted Casey's phone but she didn't reply, I called her and again, I got nothing. When I pulled up I saw a car I know I've seen before, but brushed it off. But it was something about the personalized tag that had my mind going in circles. As we neared he door I heard a man talking. I really don't care for how this nigga talking to by baby momma, real talk.

"You will do what the fuck I say, how I say it" I heard him say. "No" I hear her yell. "Bitch, I will kill you and that baby in your fucking stomach you thot ass female. You probably got bout twenty different baby daddies" he said laughing. "I am not a thot, the father is only between you and Zyion and I swear to God I hope it's him.

You ain't nothing but a piece of shit. Deonte, how dare you threaten my damn child, fuck you. Pussy ass bitch." I heard her say as I laughed. "My baby momma got some balls" I whispered to Bri making her laugh. The laughter stopped when I heard glass shatter and Casey screaming. "Ayye bruh" I said rushing in and tackling him to the ground. "Don't you ever put your fucking hands on her" I said continuously beating his ass. He got in a few good punches but I was still sticking his ass. I heard Bri on the phone with 911 but I was still going. It wasn't until I felt hands snatch me off ole boy did I realize the police had shown up. After taking down our statements, taking pictures of Casey's bruises, and making a police report I stepped out to take a walk to calm down. The entire situation totally and completely threw me off. If I'm not the father, I'll be damned if Casey let that nigga be anywhere near the baby. I will not allow it, bottom line.

When I got back Bri and Casey were in the bed asleep looking so peaceful all I could do was smile.

I decided to go to the store and shop myself, when I get back I'll make my three girls some lunch and go out for a walk because Casey ass probably hasn't been walking like her doctor advised her too. I pulled up to Wal-Mart and instantly my mind went straight to Azure. The last time she was seen was at a Wal-Mart, after that, she just seemed to have vanished. When I sleep I see her, just just smiles. I find comfort in those dreams because I feel like God is sending me a sign that my cousin is alive still, and that's what I need to know. Now I just need somebody to come forward and tell us what they know or what they've heard or seen. I miss Azure so much it's ridiculous. I want to hug her and just kiss all over her face, I swear when she comes home I probably will never let her out of my sight. I just want her to be safe. I need my cousin back, like yesterday.

Okay, I messed f'd up & deleted chapter 20 ... I'm not in the mood to type it up again, trust me it is a lonnnnnng ass chapter with like 3 different POVs so bare with me, I'll make it worth that wait!
