chapter 22

Josh's POV (the next day …)

I am so proud of Tianna for finally standing up to Ricardo and doing everything possible to help Azure's family, I just pray and hope they haven't killed her and that we aren't too late to help her.

I brought Tianna to my cousin's house to see my parents for the first time in years, and to meet the kids. "Hey Miss Tianna" Armani squealed running to hug her. Tianna looked over at me and smiled, all I could do is smile back. "Come on" Armani said pulling her into the living room. Everybody embraced Tianna and showered her with hugs and kisses. My mom even cooked and baked Tianna's favorite, lemon pound cake. After everybody ate we sat around talking and laughing. I am so happy they hit it off with Tianna because eventually I plan on making her my wife when she gets all this divorce paperwork out of the way with Ricardo.

When I sit and think about everything she had to go through with him I get pissed feeling as though in a way it's by fault, but then I smile because when I look at her all I can think about is how incredibly strong she must be to deal with everything that has happened and still be able to walk around with a smile on her face. This woman, my woman deserves some form of happiness, she deserves to smile and be happy, she deserves the world and I will do my absolute best to give her just that, or struggle trying to. From today forth my life is about Armani, Josiah, my family, and Tianna. I understand her saying she's okay with losing her life saving Azure's, but I plan on doing my best to keep both Azure and Tianna safe, at all costs. They both deserve a second chance at life, at happiness. I also don't want for Ricardo Jr, Sr, or Kenneth to die, so that justice can be done for both Azure, Zaynah, Tianna, and everybody else that had to deal with either three of those supposed to be men.

Rico Sr POV

I haven't see Catherine's ass in a minute and I'm starting to get pissed off. After the detectives left I started to get this strange feeling that shit was about to for down. I definitely do not have time to get anymore time added to my sentence for Jr and Kennard stupidity. I hope they followed my instructions and got rid of Azure. The longer that how alive the worse for all three of us.

I hate to get Brandy involved but if I don't hear from them soon I will have no choice than to call her and let her know where they went so she can cheek on them and make sure they finish the job I sent them to do. Since Catherine been m.i.a and my cellmate is still in the hospital from being jumped I need for Brandy to visit, I need to release bad. I already know she'll be on the bullshit about what I need her to do because she swear I'm trifling, and nasty, and disgusting, and blah, blah, blah. Shit, I'm just Luke every other man that I know, just trying to live to see another day, and lay the pipe down as much as possible before I have no more days to see. I don't even want Brandy, I really wanna smash Azure fine ass and make her son watch. Ricardo was supposed to send me pictures of Azure so I could beat my shit to her face & body, but I haven't gotten them yet, I hope he didn't forget. I'm getting hard as fuck just thinking about them torturing her snitching ass! That bitch deserves everything that's coming to her.
