I stared at the rippling pool of blood that was growing at my feet. I watched as Luke vomited up more blood again, I did nothing. I was scared stiff. I opened my mouth the speak but instead of words coming out, blood poured out like curry pours out out of a jug. I tried to move but my muscles refused to let me.
I sat up in my sweat covered sheets, gasping for air. "I need to get out."

I arrived at the dull looking train station and got on. I looked out side and saw it raining again, funny how it's raining a lot this summer.
I never understood why mum is the way she is. She knows what it's like to be in my position. It's why we never visit gran. She's a nasty old thing. I remember the most happiest time with mum. She turned when her and dad started to fight.
She would get frustrated and take it out on me. It hurt, having to go through that.
I plugged my headphones into my phone and pressed play. I gave a frustrated sigh as the headphones failed playing the music. This always happened, the headphones were about 6 years old and every time I used them now I had to fiddle around with the cord and plug thing to get it working... and then I had to stay in that position.
The train arrived at Glenroy and I gladly got off, ripping the headphones off from my head and dumping them in my backpack. Thinking about it now, I'm probably going to have to go back home for my stuff.
I sped-walked to the otherside of the station and gladly got into Beau's car, probably ruining his leather seats with my wet clothes.
"What brings you here today Tay?"
"I want to find a place to stay, do you think you guys would be able to help me?"
"As a matter of fact," Jai laughed from the back seat, startling me, "we're looking for a place to stay as well. We could all go and look for places close together and have tea parties and dress up days," Jai continued, finishing in a pitchy voice.
Gina sat in the back on the opposite side of Jai but Luke was no where to be found. "Oh don't worry Taylah, Luke is just off doing something. Would you like to go to a small cafe? I'm waiting 'till he texts me saying its alright to go back," Gina smiled.
"Mum you weren't meant to tell her there was a surprise. It's called a surprise for a reason," Jai yelled over the ever louder rain.
I laughed and turned to face the front, shivering as Beu turned on the heater.
"I've never seen him put such an effort towards a girl, he's afraid of relationships. You really mean something to him," Beau whispered while Gina and Jai were occupied arguing with each other.
"We aren't dating," I chuckled.
We pulled into a parking lot and hurried into the cafe just before it started hailing. The cafe was small and bright, it had mismatched seating and booths lining the wall. The floor was just wood. Nothing special.
"You done staring yet?" Jai laughed. I smiled and followed Jai, Gina and Beau to a booth that was up against a window.
I didn't know what house I wanted. I suppose an apartment would do for the meantime. Something small and cosy, overlooking the city. That's if I could afford it. One more year of school and I can finish off and move out of the country. Although, I old just drop out and see where that leads me, I want to help out at therapy places to help people like me. Of course, that would require beating my own demons and possibl-
"Stop thinking out loud and worrying about apartments, you're giving me a head ache," Jai complained jokingly, I laughed and gave him a small push... was I really thinking out loud?
