--Techno's POV--
as i woke up, the memories of the previous night flashed before my eyes
i sighed, feeling terrible for not telling minx about my brother
i got up slowly, swinging my legs over my bed as i sighed, not really wanting to leave the warmth of my bed but also my stomach was demanding food
i walked into the living room spotting phil in the same spot as last night, the only difference being that he was facing the window instead of the door
i decided to ignore him and head towards the kitchen, i grabbed the packet of cereal and the jug of milk
once i had my meal in my bowl i walked over to the dining table, phil came over too and sat with me quietly
"how was your night" he asked
"it was alright"
"was wilbur alright?"
"he wasn't there, i was there with minx, i'm sorry i lied. i know you don't like minx"
"it's okay son, you don't have to lie to me about minx, she's not all that bad anyways"
"okay."
"i think tommy was with wilbur last night, i heard him talking just after you left"
"tommy told me he couldn't see wilbur"
"well, he's never talked to me about it, so i can never be sure"
i chuckled slightly, "that's tommy for you"
silence fell over us momentarily before i broke it
"phil?"
"yeah?"
"i- uh" i looked up at him instead of at my cereal
"i love you dad"
his eyes lit up as i finished my sentence
as i looked to my right i saw wilbur there holding a book and quill
he was smiling at me
a genuine smile
i looked back at phil
"i love you too son"
