"I can't believe you're making me do this." I say as I dial Zayn's number.
Please don't answer, please don't answer, please don't-
"Hello?"
Oh crap, he answered. "Hi Zayn." I greet feeling very awkward. "Hey Diana!" he seems excited that I called.
"Since it's the weekend and I'm starting college tomorrow I was wondering if you can come with me somewhere, if you're not busy that is. Laela has an exam and can't come." I tell him. Laela face palms when I say the last part. 'What?' I mouth.
"Sure I don't have anything to do right now, you want me to come take you?"
"Yeah, that would be great, just give me like fifteen minutes to get ready."
"Only fifteen minutes?" he questions.
I chuckle at his question, "I'm not really one of those girls that spend too much time on their hair or wear makeup so I guess fifteen is all I need."
"Heh, alright I'll be there in fifteen minutes then, bye."
"Bye." I hang up and turn to Laela, "Happy?" I ask her.
"Very." she replies, "But you weren't supposed to tell him it's cos I can't go."
"Why, it's not like it's a date or something." I defend. She sighs, "Just go get ready."
"Alright, alright I'm going." I head to our room. I go in and there are clothes everywhere on the floor. "Laela why are your clothes always on the floor?!"
"What? They're just clothes." she says from the kitchen. She knows I hate it when the room is messy. Oh well, there's no time to clean it up now.
I open my closet and stare at it's contents. Now, what to wear? I pick out some dark colored jeans as usual with a black and white striped long sleeve shirt. I don't really like light colored jeans. Laela does though so we still have a few pairs in our closet. I open the other part of the closet and pick out a grey jacket and grey vans. I know boots look better but I just can't bring myself to wear them. Maybe I will later on in the winter, I mean it's only September. The last thing left is an accessory, no outfit is complete without one. Opening the drawer, I scan all the neckless, bracelets and watches we have. Man, this drawer is a mess. I pick a black watch and my outfit is complete.
I hop out if the room as I try to put my shoes on. "You're a messy person, you know that." I say to Laela for the bajillionth time.
"Thank you!" she smiles proudly. Oh this girl sometimes. But she's still my best friend and I wouldn't want her to change no matter what.
"I'm gonna wait outside, see ya." I tell her.
"Bye, take care." she replies. I wave and shut the door behind me.
Zayn's POV
I can't believe it, Diana just called me. She's the one who called me. I must have the stupidest smile in the world right now.
"Hey Zayn we have-" Harry starts, coming into the room but stops himself when he sees me. "What's up with you?" he questions.
"Who, me? Nothing." I say, my eyes darting in every direction. Harry raises an eyebrow, "I'm not an idiot, you know."
"I didn't say that." I reply.
"You didn't, but you didn't say why you were smiling like that either."
"It's nothing really, Diana just called me and asked me if I wanted to go somewhere with her." I say casually.
"What?! That's great mate!" he exclaims.
