7. Why Not?

OMG 70 READS!!! To some people this might not be a lot but to me it is so thanks to all my awesome readers I luv u all!!! :)

There was an awkward silence for almost a minute or so before I spoke, which was very hard considering I basically met one of my idols yesterday and yet here I am in his car sitting in the front seat next to him yet I managed not to freak out- on the outside that is. On the inside I feel like my heart and brain are gonna explode, I mean I still can't believe I haven't fainted yet- oh wait I already did that yesterday.

"So, where are we going?" I ask curiously

"Erm, you'll see when we get there." he replys. He sounded like he was.....nervous? Well that's extremely cute. Wait shouldn't I be the nervous one?

Aaaaand cue the awkward silence. Putting two shy people in a car together alone is a bad idea don't ever try it cause it's just like reeeeaally awkward, seriously. I mean that's if you haven't already noticed which I'm guessing most people did.

I'm thankful the car ride didn't take too long because the awkwardness (if that's even a word) was increasing every second- if possible.

Zayn drove into a beginning of a, a forest? We got out of the car but he didn't say anything he just waited for me to get to the other side of the car where he was. "Where are we?" I ask confused why we're at a forest. "Wait we're still not there yet." he answers. "Huh?" ok now I'm really confused. "Just wait you'll see." That's all he said before he started walking into the forest and I walked beside him.

We walked with silence neither one of us saying anything until he finally says something, "You don't sound like your British, where are you from?" Dang it he had to ask that.

"I-um-I'm from Chicago, Illinois in the USA." Well that was stupid of course it's obvious it's in the USA.

"Oh, cool...well you probably already know where I'm from sooo...yeah."

"Why cause I'm a fan?"

"Erm, yeah I guess."

"Sure I know where your from and a few other little things but I don't know everything about you." I feel like slapping myself at what that just sounded like, I didn't even mean to mention two of their songs, ok now I'm sure he thinks I'm creepy, great.

He chuckles. "Did you just..." he starts to say but instead of finishing he laughs.

"Not funny ok, I didn't even mean for it to sound that way at all, I mean that would just be plain creepy."

We both look at each other and burst out laughing for no reason at all, awkward right? Well I guess it's normal for two awkward people.

The barely visible path we were walking on came to an end at an open area with less trees. Zayn pushed a few bushes aside and let me through. My jaw dropped as I came out of the bushes with Zayn behind me. This was one of the most beautiful sites I've ever laid my eyes on. It was a waterfall that came crashing down to a very small size lake. "Beautiful isn't it?" Zayn says standing next to me now. "Yeah it is." I say not turning my gaze from it. "I use to come here all the time when I needed some peace and I would just sit and think."

"How did you find this place?" I ask as we start to walk along the edge of the very small lake.

"I just wanted to take a walk in the woods one day and I got lost, but I guess that was a good thing because I found this place and I was able to come back again...without getting lost."

I giggle at the last part. "Yeah well you're lucky you found it, it really is a beautiful place."

"Well congrats your the first person I bring here."
