"Alright I'm here" Jesse says
"Just ask him about it and go. I..." you say as you yawn "I wanna go to sleep" you hear the garage door where the lab is open, and then you hear Jesse speak up
"We need to talk to you... in private" Jesse says
"We?" Walter asks
"We" you say "please, quickly"
"Y/n, where are you?" Walter asks
"Uh... the arcade... laying down in the office" you say, you hear Sam laugh from her desk, you rip a piece of paper out of a notebook and throw it at her, silently laughing
"So what's the story? You get to Mike?" Jesse asks "he get out safe?"
"He's gone" Walter says, you let out a sigh of relief that he's safe
"All right. Well, what about those 9 guys in jail? I mean, they got no reason not to talk now. So, what do we do?" Jesse asks
"Whos 'we'? There is no 'we', Jesse. I'm the only vote left. And I'll handle it" Walter says. You hear footsteps and the garage door to the lab close, then Jesse hangs up
"So exactly why are we meeting here?" You ask Walter
"Open your trunk" he says, you do so and he places a duffel bag in your trunk and closes it. He then knocks on jesses door, Jesse opens it
"Hi" Walter says
"Hey" Jesse says back
"I hope we're not disturbing you or anything" Walter says "I tried calling but..."
"Yeah. No, I tossed all my burners" Jesse says
"Oh, well you didn't answer your home line so..." Walter says
"It's disconnected" Jesse says "well, unplugged. I mean, did you leave a message, or...?"
"No." Walter says
"So. What's up?" Jesse asks
"I wanna know the same thing" you say
"No, I was just in the neighborhood, I called y/n told him let's stop by and say hello" Walter says
"You wanna come in, or...?" Jesse asks
"Uh... sure... thanks" Walter says. You come in and see Jesse put away a bong
"You know, I'd offer you a beer or something, but I'm out " Jesse says, you and Walter say that you would refuse it anyways
"You didn't wind up moving I see" Walter says
"Didn't have to. Saul told me what you did. Anyways, I'm not in jail. You aren't either, so there you go." Jesse says
"There was no other option, Jesse. It had to be done" Walter says
"I'm not coming back" Jesse says
"Neither am I" you say
"It's funny, I... I saw a bounded the other day" Walter says
"Bounder?" Jesse asks
"The RV" You say
"Oh, you saw the same one as ours?" Jesse asks
"Yeah. Well, I mean, within a couple of years, I guess. Early 80s. It was certainly in a lot better shape than our old hunk of junk. Much nicer paint job... no bullet holes in the door" Walter says
"Yeah, that thing was a nightmare, huh?" Jesse says
"Yeah. It was primitive" Walter says
"You know, whenever I hit a red light, I used to pray it wouldn't crap out on me" jesse says
"I'm surprised we didn't get pulled over for something" you say "it's... that rv was crap, yet amazing"
"Yeah. And then, suddenly it would sometimes have that... that screeching sound just out of the blue like we hit a pack of cats" Walter says
"Power-steering belt. That's what that was" Jesse says "you know I always had this... this whole system. This strategy rob not let it idle too low."
"Remember that time we ran out of gas coming back from a cook?" Walter asks
"The gauge. Always said half full" Jesse says
"Remember when the battery died on us?" You ask
"Had to put the keys in the ignition" Walter says
"We had money. Why'd we keep it?" Jesse asks "why did we have to have the worlds shittiest RV?"
"Inertia?" Walter asks
"Yeah. Yeah. Inertia" Jesse says "So... hey I gotta get going"
"Me too" Walter says "I gotta get going as well"
"Yeah... yeah I should probably go too" you say
"I left something for you" Walter says. You walk outside to your car and open your trunk. You open the duffel bag and see money. Lots of it. With a note that says "5"
