After I put away my groceries, I start unpacking as I ate some carrots. After I finished I looked around the room. "Well, what am I going to do now?" I  have no job, no dance studio, no friends...damn I should have got that....Ross kids number. He's the only person I've actually met minus my Uber driver who told me about his collection of broken baby dolls...not my ideal friendship, but Ross seemed cool. I might as well find a dance studio, I will hopefully make friends there. I grabbed my laptop and went on YouTube and typed in "LA dance company." I watched a couple of videos of dance companies at competitions and in studio performances, which led me to a video about some dance company called "The Rage". It stood out to me for some reason. I watched a couple of their videos and by the time I watched the Express video, I wanted to go. I found the website and saw that they were still open for about three more hours. I put in the address, it was about an hour away, so I headed there. I got there pretty quick and headed in. The receptionist was sitting behind a desk on her laptop. She looked up and smiled.

"Hi, welcome to The Rage. How may I help you?"

I approached the desk and placed my hand on the desk.

"Hi..um..I'm Madi...Madi Byrd. I just moved here and I'm looking for a studio."

"Oh, well we would love to have you join us here. Would you like me to give you the tour?" She stood up.

"Sure-" I was cut off by the phone ringing. She looked at it then back at me with a weak smile. "You know what. It's fine, I'll just look around myself."

She mouthed thank you and sat back down and answered the phone. "Oh and we have a room open if you want to go in."

I walk around the corner, looking around into every room as I pass. They had a tumbling class, a ballet class, and even a singing class going on. I saw the empty room. I pulled open the door and peeked in just to make sure no one was in there. I walked in and looked around. "Wow, this place is pretty cool." I stood there and took a deep breath. I just gotta do it. I smiled and walked over to the AUX cord and plugged my phone in and pulled up one of my favorite songs. I just started dancing, I did an freestyled dance, I knew the song well enough and just went with it. I was doing pretty well too, but about a minute into the song I saw someone in the doorway. She was a tall blonde girl and just stood there arms crossed and leaning on the door frame.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I didn't think anyone was going to use this room."  I ran over to my bag and unplugged my phone.

"No no, you're fine." She said walking towards me laughing. "That was good. Did you just come up with that?"

I smiled shyly "Yeah."

"Wait," she arched her eyebrow "I've never seen you here before. Do you dance here?"

"No, I just moved here and I want a studio so I came here and the room was open so I came in and-"

"Calm down,"she laughed. "You're not in trouble. I just hear the music come on and I came and watched. That's it. But you need to come dance here. Come on, let's get you signed up."

"Thank you." I smiled and started walking with her back to the front. "I'm Madi Byrd by the way."

"I like that combo, Madi Byrd." She opened the door to the lobby. "Oh and I'm Rydel Lynch."
