Sam, Artie and Blaine looked at Marcy as she hummed and mopped. That was freaky. It was the old school mop and she hated that thing.

Both brunettes pushed the blond into the room then fled. He scowled behind him as they hid.

"Sam?"

Sam spun around to see Marcy staring at him in concern. He grinned haphazardly. "Hey, Marcy. How are ya?"

"I'm well and yourself?"

He loved her manners and eased. "I'm good. Whatcha doin?"

She looked at her hand, which held the mop stick.

"Right. You're mopping." He burned.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing."

She waited but that was all he said. "Then why are you here?"

He thought up a lie, forgetting that his girlfriend lived there. "I wanted to see if you wanted to watch a movie with me."

"Okay. Sure."

He was bowled over that that worked. "Okay. Can I get your popcorn?"

"Sure. Let me put this up. What movie do you want to watch?"

"I know you don't want to watch Avatar-"

She lifted a shoulder. "I'll watch it."

"What?" He said dumbly as a louder "what?!" echoed from around the corner.

Marcy leaned with a frown but saw nothing.

Sam hurried to jump in. "Thanks so much. I'll go downstairs and get the movie-"

"It's okay. I can just buy it from iTunes."

"You want to own it?" He almost wet himself.

"It's no big deal." She went about cleaning up.

He was very concerned. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." She gave him a genuine smile.

He didn't know what to do so he just watched her until she finished mopping.

She tiptoed out to pour out the dirty water and wash her hands thoroughly then came back to make popcorn.

"Are you sure you're alright?" He spoke up, having had a quick conversation with Artie and Blaine in her absence.

"Yeah." She handed him his bowl and a can of root beer. "Let's go. Nobody's home so we can watch in the den."

"What about the babies?"

"Playdates." She shrugged.

"Lisa?"

"Playdate."

"Mal?"

"I feel like I'm repeating myself."

He smiled. There was her sass. "After you."

"Thank you." She walked to the den and sat down. She set her bowl and can aside to pull her phone from her back pocket. She went to her iTunes app and purchased the best version of Avatar she could. She synced it to the TV and turned on the subtitles then sat back to watch.

Sam was dumbfounded but he was so geeked to show her his favorite movie that he quickly got into it.

Artie and Blaine were awestruck. If she could be persuaded to watch Avatar (a movie she completely hated), then could she be persuaded to do things they liked?
