"Aang..." I whispered as he climbed the latter. I stood up quietly and followed him. I bit my lip and wrapped my arms around him from behind. "Are you okay?" I mumbled. He turned around in my arms and smiled softly down at me. "Want to talk about it?""Nah, just a nightmare. I was in the Avatar State, but I was outside my body watching myself. It was scary. I was scary." He closes eyes and bows his head; out foreheads touch and I blushed slightly.
"You'll learn to control it one day."
Later that day we meet Pakku on the ship with two Water Tribe members.
"Katara. Kida and I want you to have this. This amulet contains water from the Spirit Oasis. The water has unique properties. Don't lose it."
"Thank you, Master Pakku. Master Kida."
"Aang, these scrolls will help you master waterbending. But remember, they're no substitute for a real master." Aang smiled at me. "Sokka ..." Pakku pats him on shoulder, leaving him dismayed. "take care, son."
"Pakku." I hugged him as Shui followed suit. "I'm sorry I was such a pain." He chuckled.
"You were the greatest fighter I've ever went against. Yue always said I should give you a chance and then you bested me. You both are amazing benders your parents would be proud." Shui walked up to the man that claimed to be our father and greeted him. I looked at Aang then walked to the man, suddenly a bracelet was placed in my hand.
"This was hers." I whispered he smiled and hugged me.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you two growing up but I'll make up for it one day Kida." I made eye contact with him. "As beautiful as your mother." I smiled and we hugged and then me and Shui hopped onto Appa, me beside Aang. Pakku begin to speak to us while pointing out in a direction.
"Fly straight to the Earth Kingdom base to the east of here. General Fong will provide you with an escort to Omashu. There, you will be safe to begin your earthbending training with King Bumi."
"Appa, yip yip!" I said Aang smiled at me and held the reigns as I leaned into him.
"Say hi to Gran-Gran for me!" Katara said. I turned and looked at Shui as he turned to me.
"Ozai is in for it. 2 water benders the Avatar and the Chei. Not to mention 2 Warriors." He high fived Sokka. "We got this Aang time to learn the next element!" I giggled at Shui and turned back to Aang. "But that's my sister I will kick your arrowed butt if you hurt her."
"My behind is not arrowed." I blushed and burst out laughing.
"Well you know what I mean boy!"
*time skip*
"I want arrows." I said, Aang looked over at me and smiled. "Does it hurt?"
"Kind of." I made a face and shook my head.
"Never mind."
"She's a wimp."
"I got my face and stomach burned I think you're the wimp."
"Boohoo sister." I threw an ice ball at his head and grinned.
"Shui, Kida. Stop." Sokka said. Shui looked at him.
"You're not my dad!" I burst out laughing along with Katara and Aang as Sokka shook his head.
"You guys really don't get to have fun much at home."
"We had fun but it wasn't like this. There were many people that we could have fun with but I was very serious about things and changing our ways while my brother tried to train and be stronger each day." I looked at hands. "When I was five I slammed my brother against the wall. But I didn't use water I bent his blood. I wanted to learn water bending so I never would hurt someone like that ever again."
