"You guys are going to be done soon, right? We have a lot of ground to cover if we're going to make it to Omashu today." I was practicing with Aang as Katara was practicing with Shui had taught them the octopus form so I wanted to the go against someone else. I obviously chose to verse Aang."What? Like you're ready to go right now, naked guy?"
"I could be ready in two minutes. Seriously, whenever."
"So you were showing me the octopus form?" Aang was the last one to learn this form.
"Right, let me see your stance." He assumes a defensive stance. After careful consideration, I walk over to him, then I walk under his right arm.
"Your arms are too far apart." I fixed his arms closer together. "See, if you move them closer together, you protect your center. You got it?" I kissed his cheek as they turned red and smiled."Oh, yea ... thanks."
"Okay, let's see what you got." Aang bends the water, creating a globule which eventually transforms into eight whip-like water tentacles. He carefully maneuvers them, fending off shards of ice that I repeatedly send at him by throwing them away or dodging them. At length, he manipulates one of the tentacles, curling it around my leg, gripping it firmly and pulling on it.
"You make a fine octopus, Pupil Aang." Aang dances playfully, suspended in a globule of water shaped like an actual octopus. I look at Katara and my brother and nod slightly.
Suddenly, music can be heard in the distance. The group witnesses a strange group of nomads playing music on instruments and singing, approaching them.
"Da, da, da. Don't fall in love with the traveling girl. She'll leave you broke and brokenhearted. Hey, river people!"
"We're not river people." Shui said as Katara nodded. I leaned into Aang and sighed.
"You're not? Well then what kind of people are you?"
"Just ... people."
"Aren't we all, brother?"
"Who are you?" Sokka said.
"I'm Chong and this is my wife, Lily. We're nomads, happy to go wherever the wind takes us!" He suddenly strums his lute-like instrument in a crazy fashion much like a rock star strums crazily on their guitar.
"You guys are nomads? That's great! I'm a nomad!" Aang said as one arm slid around my waist.
"Hey, me too!"
"I know ... you just said that."
"Oh. Nice underwear ..." Sokka uses Momo to cover himself and then scoots away. I snorted and looked up at my boyfriend. 'So Cute.'
*time skip*
The 5 of us and the band of nomads were lounging nearby Appa, whose fur is braided. Chong is casually strumming his lute. Sokka approaches. My side hair was now placed in a neat braid. Aang was wearing a pink flower crown and Katara was getting her hair braided.
"Hey, Sokka, you should hear some of these stories. These guys have been everywhere!" I leaned against my boyfriend and saw my brother glare at Aang slightly.
"Well not everywhere, Little Arrowhead. But where we haven't been, we've heard about through stories and songs.
"They said they'll take us to see a giant night crawler!" Katara made a face and I giggled.
"On the way, there's a waterfall that creates a never-ending rainbow!"
"Look, I hate to be the wet blanket here, but since Kida and Katara is busy, I guess it's up to Shui and I." I snort as Katara shoots him a glare as Lily continues to braid her hair. I kissed Aang's cheek a bunch and smiled at his blush.
