Hey everyone, I forgot to say before hand but anything that is written in galactic will be translated in the comments next to it. In chapter 1 this is also the case. Also. I DREW GRIAN!!! And I love it! This is kind of what I imagined he looked like accept he has his usual jumper on not a sleeveless one like in the photo.

Grian didn't know what to do, I mean who was he supposed to talk to in order to know what the hell is happening to him? Grian tore his eyes away from the mirror and started to pace once again, thinking about all of the hermits and who might be able to help.
"Impulse? No, he's an human. BDubs? He reads a lot. But he's also human. Think. Think!" Grian stopped eyes wide and a smile growing on his face. "Tango! Oh my watchers why didn't I remember Tango?!" He jumped up and down as he spread his wings raring to fly to the gargoyle's cartoon base.
And it was lucky he left when he did. Otherwise he just may have been spotted me the two hermits that were searching for him.

He didn't think to message Tango of the situation at hand so it came as quite a surprise to the red eyed hermit when Grian landed right in front of him. "Tango! I need your help!" Grian yelled and he grabbed the other hermit by his shoulders. Tango was disoriented to say the least, but when his mind was able to piece what was in front of him his eyes trailed up towards the horns growing from Grian's head.
"Umm Grian? How do you have horns?" He asked hesitantly.
Grian shook his head "I don't know. I kept having these recurring dreams where I had horns and then like 9, 10 days ago they actually started growing. I passed out a few days ago because I found they only grew in my sleep so I tried to say awake. I literally just woke up like an hour ago and hoped that you might know something."
"Well I don't know why exactly you are growing horns, if you had any other changes to your body like your wings or eyes then I might have put it to you being nether blessed. A lot of people can be nether blessed if the creatures there like them. But you only have horns..." Tango turned around his fingers on his chin as he thought to himself, slightly mumbling enough so Grian could hear him. "It might have something to do with the ender dragon? No, he doesn't interfere often. Maybe it's the start of a blessing? Hey Grian?"
"Y-Yeah"
"Has your magic changed at all? Like are you finding it harder to use?" Grian thought for a moment, reflecting on what had happened in the days before he had passed out.
"No... now that I think about it, it was actually EASIER for me to use."
"Hmm that doesn't make sense. I need you to do something alright?" Tango walked in front of Grian and lit his hand aflame.
"Woah why are you doing that!?" He said taking a step back. Tango grabbed him arm, griping him with the hand not aflame.
"I just need to test something" He brought his other hand closer, "I need you to see if you can grab this flame. If you can, I need you to see how long for."
Grian hesitated. 'Fire hurts, fire is not meant to be touched' was the only explanation his brain would supply. 'But it's pretty.' The little gremlin living rent free in his brain decided to voice.
"Ok." He said bring his hand closer to the flame still lit by Tango. To his surprise it didn't burn. It was warm sure but not uncomfortably so, in fact it was really nice. Tango extinguished his own flame but the one in Grian's hand still stayed alight. Grian was fixated by the flame as it slowly started to turn purple, white sparks occasionally popping off of it. He felt a tug in his core. The flame got slightly bigger and he drew his other hand towards it, cupping it, eyes still locked.
It started to take shape.
A figure of sorts started to show itself within the flames. Two pairs of feathered wings wrapped around a staff.

Grian was still fixated on the flames.

They thinned and elongated soon taking the form of the staff seen in the licks of the fire. He gripped it with both hands, the flames dying and in its place, an obsidian rod with sliver etching throughout.
"G..an. Gr..n. Gr.an. Grian. Grian! GRIAN!" Tango shouted, shaking Grian by the shoulders. This snapped Grian out of whatever trance he had been in and as he did the staff lost its shape, turning back into a flicker of flame and dying out in the palm of Grian's hand.
"Tango?" Grian questioned "What was that?" Tango shook his head.
"I don't know. From the looks of it you were in a trance of some sort."
"Did you see it though?"
"See what?" Tango tilted his head to the side.
"The staff. The one that my flames turned into?" Grian stared directly into his friends red eyes as he said so.
"Grian. It was only a flame. There was no staff. Just a purple and black flame."
At this point both of the inhumans were far beyond confused and were borderline scared. Whatever Grian saw Tango didn't. And that scared the both of them more then they would admit out loud.
"I should get going." He started to turn to leave.
"Grian?" Tango took a step closer to the hermit in question
"Yeah?"
"Be careful ok? We don't know what's happening and I would rather not see our resident watcher and my friend hurt. Ok?"
"Don't worry Tango! I'll be fine, I just need to find a way to hide my horns!"
With that he flew off towards his mansion.
'At least I hope I'll be fine...'
