"Chris will come back. He's a strong guy. He has to come back. I know he will".

YOUR POV

It's been four hours. Mel and Zach took Tristan, Tyler, and Dom home. I wanted to stay, and Bryan insisted on staying with me.

I asked the nurse if it was ok to lay in his bed with him, and she didn't care. Neither did the doctor. I would just have to move when it was to do check-ins on him.

Right now I'm laying on Chris's bed with him; still looking helpless. Bryan went to get us some food. I haven't eaten in six hours, which is how long Chris has been here. It's currently two in the morning by the way. I'm exhausted, but don't want to fall asleep in case something happens to Chris.

(This is how they are in the hospital bed. Just imagine the guy is Chris laying flat on the bed.)

Bryan came back with some McDonalds

Bryan came back with some McDonalds. I was starving, but I didn't want to take a break from worrying about Chris. Bryan and I were listening to the news when all of a sudden Chris's heart monitor stopped. It started up again, but his heart rate said it was at 64 and was beeping really loud.

"Bryan! Something's wrong with Chris"!

All of a sudden, four nursers bursted into the room with the doctor behind them. They got his heart rate back but started taking his bed out of the room.

"Wait! Where are you taking him"?

The doctor stopped me from getting to Chris.

"Chris needs emergency surgery. The glass in his stomach cut through and he's bleeding internaly. We need to drain that blood and close up the cut. You and Bryan can wait in the lobby until further notice".

The doctor ran after the nurses and into the elevator. Bryan walked me back to the waiting room. He sat me down and called Zach to get everyone back to the hospital.

I felt like I couldn't breath. Not even an hour went by when the group arrived. Dom was the first to ask me.

"What's wrong with Chris"?

I looked up and sniffled. "He—".

I couldn't get the words out and put my head in my hands and started crying again. Mel and Bryan put their arms around me, and I could hear someone sit infront of me on the floor. I moved a finger to see Tristan sitting on the floor.

"I see you peeking at me y/n".

Tristan placed his hands on my knees and let me get out my emotions. I finally let my hands free from my face and wiped my tears away. Mel gave me some tissues as well.

"Y/n, what happened to Chris"?

I looked at Tyler, "He, he had to get blood drained from his stomach. The glass cut through and he's in emergency surgery right now".

A nurse rushed out of the employee only door and stopped in front of me.

"Are you y/n"?

"Yes, is everything ok"?

"Um, the doctor wanted me to tell you that Chris will be in surgery for a while. The blood that needs to be drained is a lot and is going very slowly".

That's something you don't want to hear.

"When can I see him"?

She sighed, "do you want me to tell you the good news or the bad news about that first"?

"Good news first, please".

Well, "the good news is that after the recovery of the surgery, Chris can go home. He's in the state where his broken bones don't need to be monitored anymore. Although, they are still healing so he needs to be on bed rest for about another 3-4 weeks. We also recommend another week of just staying home".

"Ok, and what's the bad news"?

"Since he doesn't need to be at the hospital anymore, we are sending you guys home to wait for Chris. He will be taken home by a hospital van with EMTs.

"You're kicking us out"?

"I wish it wasn't but it's our policy. Chris should be home by eleven o' clock at night".

With that, she walked away. The rest of us got all our things together and I went to sign the discharge papers.

We all went home, and I was so anxious that I couldn't sit down. Minutes went by, and soon hours. Finally a van pulled up to the house.

One lady came up to the door; knocking very sweetly. I opened it and she smiled, handed me a bag of medicines, and walked away.

I watched at the door as two others helped Chris get into a wheel chair. He looked a lot better, but was still very pale and still.

Bryan and Dom helped the two nurses get the wheel chair into our house. We said thank you as the nurses left.

I went to find Chris, and he was resting in his bed. I had a list of what meds he needed and what times, and it was time to start.

"Chris, time to start taking your meds for a long time".

He laughed but then winched in pain.

"Are you alright"?

I rushed to his side, still holding his pills and a water bottle.

"Yah, it just hurts to move".

I brushed his hair out of my face. I kissed him and gave him the pills.

"Thank you baby".

I sighed, "Chris...I'm really sorry for what happened. I caused stress and I made you get hurt because of it. I promise to back off. I'm so sorry".

I sniffled and wiped tears off my cheeks. I felt Chris' arm move and his hand grab mine.

"Y/n it's ok. It's not your fault. I wasn't looking and it's on me. Please don't put this on yourself. I love you so much, and I'll start telling you things if you really need to know. I'm sorry too".

With that, we kissed. I loved it. I loved the feeling that I had him back again. I loved that he was safe, in his bed, right next to me.

He was home, and everything between us was gonna be ok again. Everything was gonna be fine.
