chapter thirteen (xiii.)

3rd person's pov

summer 2017,  28th of August

6:30 pm

"Kiara, hurry up! we're going to miss the bus!"

"im running as fast as i can Charles" the girl shouted, trying to catch her breath and trying to catch up after the mentioned boy

the girl tried running as fast as she could, with her bag on her back it was  harder than you could imagine

when she nearly thought she's going to pass out, she stopped at the bus stop, looking up while exhaling loudly, her eyes met Charlie's. The boy was already looking at her with a smile
"don't just stand there smiling Charles"

"can't help it, it's funny to see you struggle" the girl just gasped making the boy chuckle

as the girl, Kiara was about to sass back, they saw a big bus approach them. Charlie grabbed his pack and grabbed Kiara's hand, leading her to get on the bus

they sat down, Kiara chose the seat next the window, which made Charlie chuckle over her childish behavior

they were now sitting on the bus for ten minutes, still not close to the hotel they're both staying at.

"im tired and i probably stink from sweating all day at the stupid theater, i can't wait to go back to the hotel and shower"

Charlie looked at her, frowning "you don't smell bad"

"you don't need to lie" Kiara said and put her head on Charlie's shoulders "are you tired?" he asked her "not really, maybe a little.. you?"

"no, not really"  he replied to which the girl yawned

Charlie would be lying if he said he didn't like the girl on his shoulders, how could he not?
she's fun, adventurous, talented, sassy and of course, beautiful

The bus stopped at a certain street, which was their cue to finally get down from it and so they did. The bus drove past them as the two walked down the street, bags on both's back, walking to their hotel

the two are currently staying at a hotel in Los Angeles, as either of them is originally from Los Angeles, Charlie from Canada and Kiara from North Carolina

They met back in the start of August, here in Los Angeles as they were both lost and late to their acting class

Both of them are learning, trying to be better at acting, hoping to get big one day, since being an actor, actress for Kiara, is their dream.

They're in LA for a while month now, in that short but at the same time long - time they got close and spending a lot of time together, not only on the week days in their acting classes, but on the weekends too, when they and the rest of the guys who are there for the summer, go out and are getting to know each other, maybe even making friends for life time
