(The GROUP runs off SR laughing, and the scene transitions to the FAIR. The FAIR is made up of a few game stalls, and teen ENSEMBLE members are scattered.)
Daisy: (voiceover, or from backstage) It's 10:30 pm, and the group finally arrived at the fair. Oh, I'm so excited! You get to meet me soon.
Felicity: (she runs onstage, stopping at the first stall she sees.) Oh. My. God. Guys, it's soooo cute! (she turns around to reveal a stuffed animal of some sort.)
(The GROUP walks on behind her, MASON ending closer to FELICITY than the rest.)
Mason: (quietly) I'll try and win it for you.
Felicity: (jumps around excitedly) Really? Ahhh, I'm so excited! (she hugs MASON when it ends she waves the animal in his face) His name- is George.
(They go off and play games.)
Allison: (flirtily grabs JOSHUA's arm) Hey, Josh, I have an idea. Let's ride the Ferris Wheel.
Joshua: O-Okay.
(They turn around and walk offstage hand-in-hand)
Juniper: So I guess that just leaves us?
Lucas: Guess so.
(It's awkward between the two of them, LUCAS breaks the silence.)
Lucas: Hey, I have an idea! Let's go bob for apples, or we can do a hayride.
Juniper: I'd like that very much.
(They walk offstage by FELICITY and MASON. Lights go down, and most, or all, ENSEMBLE exits the stage.)
Ensemble Member: (voiceover) It's now midnight, which means the Borray Heights Halloween Fair is now closing. I hope you had a great night and stay safe!
(The GROUP is CS. FELICITY is now holding 3 stuffed animals, including George. Allison is cradling a bear, JOSHUA has his arm around her, and LUCAS is eating some cotton candy.)
Lucas: Alright, you guys ready? It's time to go to the Borray House!
Allison: Isn't it closed now?
Joshua: Duh- That's the point. We're gonna break in!
Felicity: What?! No, nonono, we can't. If we get caught- (then I'll have to move.)
Lucas: (interrupts) We're not gonna get caught. And if we do, you're small enough to hide or run away. But we won't get caught, because I am sneak-aye. (smugly crosses arms)
(The Group laughs as they walk offstage. It's now transitioned to the house, which will remain the set for the large majority of the play. Furniture will change, indicating which room they're in. Currently, there's a sofa, an end table with an old lamp, and a rug. LUCAS slides open a window US, and rolls inside, crashing into a coatrack.)
