The last boy's picture was smudged... like water damage but not? As if the camera blurred right at the face and nothing else.
The name was water damaged but everything else was not damaged at all, this case gets weirder by the second.
{Shuichi's POV}
I spent the rest of my shift trying to find more clues or evidence... anything really and you may ask "why didn't the police just ignore the report if it seemed like nothing happened" well two reasons mainly
1- that school had reports of a kid often standing on the roof after school hours
2-the girl seemed way to traumatised to be lying.
And so the policed filed it as an open case but since there was no evidence nor clues they never solved it. Actually all the files i have now and everything i gathered up until now is all me. When i opened this case there was just the girl's information and the police report.
Anyway my shift had ended now but i was so close to a new clue! I dont want to leave.. "saihara-kun, as your friend and boss... please leave" kirigiri walked out her office with crossed arms and a sigh "b-but I'm so close to a new clue!" I argued "then work it tomorrow. Bye saihara" i sighed an put away my files "f-fine... see you tomorrow kiri-sama!" She smiled and walked into her office to get her belongings. I walked out the precinct and into my car pulling out my phone "12am? Geez no wonder kirigiri made me leave.." i turned my key and the car hummed to life.
After a fifteen Minute drive i arrived home and went up the empty room to find something in my boxes. The school year book.
I had kept it for some reason... but it was quite useful now. I flipped through the pages to look for the main kids in question.
I flipped through the pages until. Found my own. My class. I had kept contact with all of them exept someone...... that boy. The last one? He was in my class but the only way i could tell was his hair. It was styled in a very specific way so i could recognise this was the same kid yet again..... the face was smudged. Everything else stood the Same but his face was blurred....... i tracked the other two down to their families and phone numbers.. that ruled them out.
Both poeople where alive and healthy... so that leaves this boy.

Status: alive/deceased/disappeared.
In other words i dont know what happened to this boy... it was like he disappeared from the face of this earth...no close contacts, no trace of him left, no usable files...they were all water damaged except for the one i Lund but his name was blurred. Its like something or someone went out of their way to make this boy dissapear but. . .
Why do i feel like something is missing? And why am i crying?
