War in the Drawing Room.

15th of June, 2010.

Buckingham Palace.

Coraline sauntered through the halls of Buckingham Palace, unaware of the hell about the break loose.

She reached the drawing room she'd been called to, the footman behind her announcing her arrival. "Her Royal Highness, Coraline, Princess of Wales, your majesty."

She felt as though she'd walked into an intervention at the sight of her grandmother, grandfather, father, step mother and brothers. Eyebrows furrowed and jaw slacked, she asked the simple question. "What in the bloody hell is this?"

Philip cracked a smile. "Sit down, darling." She reluctantly sat down, instantly feeling crowded in her lone seat. "I'm afraid granny's had a bit of a problem with your interview."

"What interview?"

Camilla felt the need to butt in and be included in the family with her annoying voice and frankly, annoying opinions. "Your BBC interview."

"No one asked you, Camilla."

"Coraline!" Charles scolded, placing his hand on an upset Camilla when no one else really cared.

Elizabeth cleared her throat, everyone's attention directing to her. "The question about you getting the throne. I believe your answer was unprofessional and a bad representation of the family."

"It's the truth."

She was ignored as her grandmother carried on. "Your split with Aaron. You said too much."

Coraline scowled. "Too much? They wanted to know the truth so I told them!"

"You can't use interviews and headlines as a way of getting back at him!"

Philip and Harry got to work, quieting the women as Camilla smiled. "I thought Aaron was lovely."

The princess shook her head. "Why are you even here? Please, leave. This is so obviously a family meeting, so please go, Camilla."

The older woman looked to Charles, who only shared a look of sympathy. Sure, he loved his wife, but he knew his daughter needed him more. She nodded, leaving the room quietly. "I wasn't getting back at him. I was answering the question clearly and honestly."

"Well, because of your clarity and honesty, the tabloids are comparing your relationship to mum and dad's. Saying thank god there isn't another 1980 incident." William declared softly.

"The public need to see some humanity."

Elizabeth pursed. "The whole point of this family is idealism. We can't be honest like this or else the entire monarchy might as well come crashing down. We are not here to be real, Coraline."

"Well I am, and I'm sorry if you have an issue with that. If you do, I'll sign the papers and by tomorrow morning I would've stepped down as a senior member of the royal family." Everyone remained silent.

16th of June, 2010.

Chelsy Davy's Residence.

"I'm proud of you." Chelsy stated, taking the cigarette from between Coraline's lips and putting it between her own after a long explanation about the evening before.

"Why?"

"You finally told Camilla she wasn't your family. Told her to get out."

Coraline scoffed. "I told her to get out of the room, not the family."
