⚠️Trigger Warning: Stabbing (multiple separate times), Near Death, Bad Language⚠️
A/N: just a heads up I am so unbelievably terrible at writing any sort of romance/flirting so some of you may find the interaction between Clark and Kate EXTREMELY cringe worthy. I know I do. I kinda wanted it to be awkward for the both of them. So I hope you can see what I was trying to do. Anyways I apologise in advance for my abysmal writing skills, I hope you enjoy :)

Kate heard the slam of the cell door that Sam and the unconscious nephilim had been locked in.
She was taken to, and locked in the 'waiting room' of the station, with a young man, about her age.
Whilst Dean had been taken to a separate room by the sheriff for questioning and told Kate she would be taken in soon after.
Herself, Dean and Sam, had been patted down for weapons and all their guns, knifes and other protective tools were confiscated and presumably now in the sheriffs hold.

Kate sat in the almost vacant room, swinging her legs on the chair she sat on, trying her best to break the awkward air between herself and the boy who had been assigned to 'watch her.'
When Barker had told the young guy what she needed him to do, Kate laughed internally at the fact this woman thought the scrawny boy could put up a fight if she tried anything.
Not that she was going to of course. It was obvious based on the previous interactions she had observed that the boy was the sheriffs son.
"So..." he started, attempting to break the ice, "where you uh- where you from," his voice cracked, he coughed to try and hide it.
Running his hands through his long black hair. Kate smirked subtly at the fact he was clearly intimidated by her.
"I'm not really 'from' anywhere. My family travels a lot so I never really had a permanent home growing up... I've got one now, but I'm not telling you where that is. Obviously. I don't need another stalker. Burying the last ones body was a right pain in the ass," she attempted to joke, chuckling at herself, completely lying about the whole stalker situation.
Her awkwardness was clear and present for an obvious reason; boys had never really been interested in Kate and she had never really been interested in them.
However, he didn't seem at all impressed by her humour, in fact he seemed far more scared than amused; eyes going wide.
"I'm kidding, you know?" She clarified, this time being sincere after observing his terror.
He suddenly straightened in his seat, acting a lot less frightened now, "pshh, I knew that." He lied, finishing with an awkward cough, and continuing, "You really tasered that kid, huh?" He asked, confused but somehow amused by the whole situation, "kinda kinky..." he winked at her, this time he was the one trying to make jokes.
As the roles reversed, Kate was now the one not amused; screwing her face up in disgust momentarily before smiling, "You find this funny? Kinda strange considering a minute ago you looked just about ready to shit your pants." She smirked, trying to get on his nerves.
"Whatever..." he mumbled, looking at his feet. Kate smiled in triumph.
Suddenly his head tilted up, he looked at her for a few moments, talking in the full view of her face and body, probably for the first time since he got in the room. Out of nowhere he looked her dead in the eye and asked, "will you have sex with me?"
