Suprisingly, I wasn't bombarded with questions as soon as I stepped into the house. A delightful smell greeted my nose as soon as I walked over to the table, where plates had been set and piled with food. I noticed that an extra plate had been set for Ben.

"Welcome back, Summer." Rand said.

"Thanks!" I said. Then I pushed Ben inside of the house when I noticed that he wasn't behind me. "And this is Ben!" I informed them with a huge smile when Ben gave them all a dopey grin. That stupid smile of his was adorab- stupid. Stupid smiles are stupid.

"Hi, I'm Ben!" He said, despite the fact that I just introduced him. Then he seemed to realize that I already introduced him, because he laughed nervously.

I motioned to Rand. "Ben, this is Rand, the Area Ranger."

Ben walked around the table and held his hand out to Rand. "Hi, Rand. I'm slow." He joked.

Rand shook Ben's outstretched hand and chuckled. "Murph filled me in on the details. I'm glad that you're okay."

"Yeah, sorry. I was suddenly caught up and am slightly late." Ben explained, walking back around to stand beside me again.

I snickered. "Slightly late? Try a day, and then some."

Ben nudged me. Nema giggled at my remark. Ben looked at Nema curiously. "That's Nema, Rand's daughter. She's a mechanical genius." I informed him.

Nema grinned. "You can leave your Styler maintenance to me!" She told him.

Ben remembered something. "So you're the girl that Summer said could repair my Styler, right?" He asked. Then looked around, jittery with excitement. "If you can fix my Styler, we might be able to find the Pokemon Pincher's hideout!"

Rand looked puzzled and intrigued at the same time. "How might we be able to?"

"I was blindfolded, so I couldn't tell where we were, but I secretly attached a homing device." Ben explained.

"That's brilliant!" Rand sputtered. "So if you can pick up the homing device's signal on your Styler... Oh, you're a genius!"

Ben blushed at the praise. "And I might've heard something from another room in their base that could be helpful... They said something about 'preparations for seizing Moltres'." Ben said.

Leanne, who had quietly been reading a book up until this point, looked up. "The Pokemon Pinchers are trying to pinch the Legendary Pokemon Moltres?!" She cried. Then she started flipping through the book, which I realized was Amun's Legends of Oblivia book that I found in the mansion. "I think the book that Summer brought may be related to their plan. It might be in this one passage that I've been trying to decode. This language used is foreign for me."

I raised an eyebrow. "Really? You haven't seen anything like that language before?" I asked.

"I might've... I'm not sure. Here, look and you'll see what I mean." She said, sliding the book over to me.

I sat in a chair and looked where Leanne had been pointing. There were foreign characters that I have never seen before. Then briefly, as if it was a trick of the mind, the letters morphed and rearranged themselves on the page. The book was suddenly translated in English. I blinked. It was still in English.

"Is there something wrong?" Leanne asked.

"I think I can read it." I said in wonder.

Ben looked between me and Leanne. "No offense, Summer, but if the archeologist can't decode that passage, then how can you?"
