"Katie?!" Spencer looked up, alarmed. He looked to the spirit twins. "Quick, join me!" Then he leapt off the ground, easily thirty feet into the air. He tucked all of his limbs in to his chest.
"Show off..." Amelia muttered, chuckling. Arachne simply watched, still angry with her father. He floated, glowing a bright orange, and reached out a hand on either side. The Spirit twins laughed, turning to balls of colored light. The royal blue and white sphere of Fortitudo Gaudium flew to Spencer's left hand. Furorem, a black and blood red globe, streaked to Spencer's right hand. The light became blinding, and everyone looked away. When the light faded, Spencer knelt on the ground, wings of bronze feathers sprouting from his back. He stood, eyes shining like orange suns. He held a sword with a black blade and a shield of white light. He turned to Arachne and the others, closing his eyes so as not to blind them.
"My daughter, I must fly to save Mokali. But then I will explain why I could not see you before." She had time to nod, before he flapped his wings and rose into the air. Then he sped off, faster than Arachne had seen anyone move before. Mogasi quickly put Mia down then ran off, following the orange comet that was Spencer towards the battlefield.
Dragice and Kami both grabbed people and forced them onto the dragon's back where a saddle somehow was there. Kami nodded to his mother and she held him in her talons, taking to the air with her huge wings and following Spencer even if she wasn't as fast.
Mokali was panting, her golden blood all over the battleground. Tomala lay unconscious nearby, covered in wounds from the demon that was also panting. The two powers were angry and still had will to fight, but one couldn't take much more. Mokali fell over, her roar was the last attempt to get the demon to let her through.
"I need him back... He is still alive..." Mokali wheezed as she herself slipped from consciousness, and this made the demon pause a small degree. It reached for the ruler goddess, but Tomala somehow managed to get up and snap at the demon's gray hand. The goddess of war shook from weakness and blood loss in her defencive stance over her sister.
"You are not touching my sister!" Tomala snarled weakly.
The Demon swatted the goddess away with his massive clawed hand. She fell to the ground, sprawled out on her side. The hulking grey beast took a step towards Mokali, then another. It raised its claws, ready to strike her down when he saw in his periphery a bright light. He turned in time to be struck full force in the face by an orange meteor. The giant Demon recoiled, growling as Spencer flew past. He had shield bashed the giant at full speed. Spencer landed on the ground, and pointed his dark blade at the monster.
"Step away, fiend! Else I shall strike you down!" He challenged. The Demon said nothing, simply turned to face the new threat. It barreled towards him, snarling with its claws ready. Spencer charged towards the beast as well, shouting at the top of his voice.
The Demon kicked at Spencer, but the Paladin avoided the massive strike, leaping to the side. The monster swung with his claws, raking the ground with its massive hand. The two giants talons tried to smash Spencer between them, but the Bearer of Spirits leapt over them, straight up at the monster's face. He started spinning, and slashed a deep cut from the monster's forehead, across his nose and down to his left nostril. Black blood spurted from the monster, and it roared in fury. It swatted with its hand, trying to smash the man to the ground.
Spencer saw the attack coming and blocked with his Spirit Shield. The Demon's strike bounced off the shield, but Spencer was knocked away. He tumbled through the air, and landed on the floor lightly. The two combatants paused, both breathing hard, the Demon's breath like a hurricane.
Mokali heard the noise, but was too weak to open her eyes or move. A blast of what looked like blue fire smacked the demon in the head, it cried out in pain as the fire turned into ice and the ice dragon queen flew past where she let go of the twins and Arachne when her back feet touched the ground. Kami hopped off with Amelia who had a lilac aura form around her. The godslayer and Demon cat both charged at the monstrous demon that was trying to peel the ice off its face.
