Elizabeth and I walked down several long corridors, until we made it to a set of stairs that were pristine. There was black carpet rolled down the stairs, mixing well with the atmosphere.

This place really is a castle.

I remembered looking out the window and it looking like I was at least four stories up. This place had to be a castle or a huge mansion. The club was also pretty gigantic too. I knew it seemed really weird, it being out where there was nothing around for miles.

" After you Ms. Freeman." She extended her arm out to what looked like a library. The ceiling had drawings that expanded across bookshelves and a center table, that was longer than the dining table I saw not that long ago. It looked almost victorian.

"Have a seat he'll be with you shortly." She bowed and took her leave.

I couldn't help, but to explore just a little. I had never seen so many books in my entire life. Ive been to libraries, but they couldn't compare to this. The shelves almost reached the ceilings, it was amazing.

What else was in this place? A movie theater?

I reached my hand out spotting a book that looked to be older than me. I could barely read the cover. Opening it, turns out I was right. Older was an understatement. Classic Romeo and Juilet. Published over 200 years ago. Talk about vintage. I was willing to bet it was worth a lot. Who could of gotten their hands on this piece?

"Will wasn't as good of a writer that people made him out to be." A deep voice coming from behind me, caused me to jolt around.

"Jesus." I murmured. In front of me was the one and only vampire maniac, and that was a much nicer term.

He walked closer to grab the book out of my hand, putting it back on the shelf.

"Did I scare you? I didn't take you as the type to scare easily."

I scoffed, "I didn't take you as the kind of person who reads."

"Hm." He turned away from me, walking towards the long table. He pulled out a chair and faced me, waiting for me.

"Well are you going to come sit?''

I sighed, mentally preparing myself for this conversation. As I was about to sit down, he grabbed my arm, making me stumble into him. My heart started racing and so did my mind. He was so strong, pulling away would be an impossible endeavor. I slowly met his eyes. He had a killer look in his eyes, making me take a step back.

He smirked. "I know what you want.'' His grip got firmer on my arm.

I winced. "Whats your problem? Let go. We can talk about this without your hand around me." I tried to pull free, but he didn't budge.

"From now on you will willingly do as I order. Even in this moment, you will not resist or fight me. Do you understand?"

"You're not serious right now! Im not your property nor am I someone you can just boss around. Im not your subject and you won't treat me like I'm lower than you. Do YOU understand?" My fear turned into anger. Which then turned to rage making me shake.

Who does he think he is. Kidnapping and now this..

I could feel my fingertips spark with fire and I was fairly certain he could too.

"Dont start something you can't finish Raven." He slowly raked his eyes across my body then back up to my eyes, like he was trying to provoke me.

"I won't just finish it." A tingling sensation made its way up my arm ready for me to give it direction.

"You must have forgotten our agreement." He grabbed my other arm just to pull me closer. Our bodies now touching.

I wanted to put some space in between us fast. I didn't trust him or what he had in mind for me. I quickly decided that if I wanted out I'd have to fight him. I didnt want to put Maegan in jeopardy just because I challenged him, but this wasn't good. For both of us I had to be smart. There had to be a way to get us out of here and escape his grasp. There would be no point in talking to him now. He only wants my submission. I was willing to bet it would be at the cost of someone else's life. I needed to think this through or at least get him to let Maegan leave.

"I didnt forget, but I will not let you treat me as if I'm just a puppet for you to control. I have a life and its not for you to command."

His face became dark, then suddenly void of any emotion.

"And where does that leave your friend Maegan hm? Isn't that why you wanted to meet with me? Instead you're trying to fight me? Be smart little girl. Even if you were to somehow win, you think you'd be able to run? All of this for one person you don't know."

"Ive known Maegan for years! How would you know. You don't know me or her. I'd risk everything for her." I rushed out.

His hands slowly released me and I broke free all the while putting some distance in between us. A smile appeared on his face. If you blinked you would've missed it.

"Sit down and lets talk.'

Reluctantly I took a seat wondering what was going through this man's head. He was like a puzzle. A puzzle that was forever changing. Some one you could never get close enough in order to solve.

"I..need to see Maegan. She has been my doctor for some time now and.. I need her to help me."

He was still and overwhelmingly quiet for a long minute. He finally walked over to the chair next to me, then rested his arm on it.

"Is that all you want?" It almost sounded like he was surprised.

Should I even try to ask for her freedom?

"Are you implying that you would allow her to?" My voice was scratchy and I hated myself for sounding so weak.

"Only if you follow my orders and obey my requests. I might even consider letting her help from outside these walls."

Hope made its way back into my mind. It was so refreshing I didn't even stop to consider what he actually meant behind it. I just wanted her to be safe and away from here. Thats all that mattered to me right now. After I knew she was in her own bed, then I could start worrying about my current situation.

"Do you mean you'll let her leave?'' I silently pleaded he'd accept.

"Yes, she would be free to leave."

I was shocked at how simple it was for him to agree. Even though thats what I've been wanting to hear I felt as if there was something strange going on. Maegan was leverage over me. Without her he couldn't control me, so why release her so easily? Elijahs words echoed through my head... what if its not what you think it is...

The hope I had started to diminish and I caught myself questioning the intentions of everyone around me. I didn't want to think about it, all I wanted was Maegan to be safe.

"Then its settled."

He nodded in approval. "I'll send a guard to fetch her, I'll let you speak with her."

" Thank you."

"But Raven, you shall remain here where you'll immediately start training. You need to learn how to control yourself. Don't mistake my intentions. Maegan is only a means to an end. It'll be sad if you were to step one toe out of line."

With that he started heading towards the door, leaving me with my own thoughts of all the different ways I wanted to kill him.

Its been a while so sorry hope you enjoy!!!!!
