Green and red series lights
Yellow dim lit candlelight
West land avalanche tonight
Foggy windows blurry outside's sight.
Winter came with a bombshell hidden
A devastating snowstorm from a lovely maiden
Deity of secrets, from snow I'll die frozen
Warmed heart from her wit was what I've chosen.
A knock from the cabin made the loner tremble
Past 12:00 midnight says the clock terribly angled
Every step from the wooden floor nimble
Who would be here at this hour though? A rebel?
Knob twisted slowly as I open
Outside witnessing a hooded woman
Shivered from coldness with eyes swollen
Should I let her in or be inhuman?
Snowstorm worsen as we both sip coffee
This was all I could offer though she wants tea
A dry bagel beside, she ate curiously
Watched her flinch made me laugh suddenly.
Exchanging talks and wits killed the time
I've come to know her journey but name she declined
I was sad for a bit but made myself fine
At least winter came to me with a companion beside.
She slept on my bed while I'm on my couch
Still cold but the fireplace burned much throughout
Night was frosty but I woke with the sun
The stranger yesterday was nowhere to found.
I doubt myself, was it real or a dream?
That maiden brought me storm but I gleamed
As I saw the cups that we used from the drink
With a note on the side that says "I am Sigyn".
