Lauren's POV

After reading the letter last night I must confess neither Camila nor I got an ounce of sleep. The plane has barely touched down on the tarmac of the airport. It's night so we won't be able to visit Dinah until morning since it's late at night and visiting hours are most likely already over.

Just like last night, I can't fall asleep. I turn around to come face with Camila's back. "Camila, are you asleep?" I whisper.

"I... Can't," She whispers.

"Face me, baby..." I touch her shoulder comfortably. Camila turns to face me and then I realize that she has been silently crying. My hand cups her tear-stained cheek as the moon's light shines through my bedroom window. "Did you cry last night too?" I question.

"I... Yeah," Camila responds.

"Why didn't you tell me, beautiful?" I mumble.

"I didn't want to bother you," She says.

"I was awake, Camila."

Camila rests her forehead against mine, "I know. I'm sorry."

"It's okay, you are going through a tough time. We'll find your brother and we will bring justice to your father's death. I promise you," I said.

"I love you, Lauren..." Camila whispers a small smile on her lips.

"I love you too," I peck her lips softly.

Camila sighs against my lips as she scoots closer to me, melting into my embrace.

Camila's POV

We wait in the lobby of the hospital as we wait to get the all-clear to see Dinah. The doctors informed us that she hasn't responded yet from her coma making me feel even more worried.

During the attack, Dinah saved one of my members and she was about to escape the joint herself but the roof came down on her. As for her lungs, they are perfectly fine, thank the Lord.

I hear footsteps on the marbled floor and I look up to see a doctor approaching us. "Can we visit her?" I stand up.

"Yes, ring up a nurse if anything happens," He says.

Lauren slides her hand in mine, squeezing it. "It's going to be okay," She whispers in my ear.

I don't respond as I pay attention to the numbers of the hospital rooms. I find the number of Dinah's hospital room and stop in front of it. My free hand comes up to the doorknob and I slowly open it. Tears sting my eyes when I see Dinah's unconscious, pale, cold body laying on the hospital bed as the machines help keep her going. I release my hand from Lauren's grip as I walk up beside her bed looking down at her still features. I kneel beside her bed as I bury my face in my hands the tears flowing free.

The warmth of Lauren's hand is now on my back as she rubs up and down.

"Dinah..." I cry out.

Lauren kneels beside me as she turns my head to look at her. "She's strong, Camila. She's here, fighting for her life, she'll wake up I know it," Lauren whispers. She clasps my hands in hers and plants kisses on my palms. Lauren moves us to sit on the chairs in the room.

The sun is starting to set outside and we are still here in the hospital. The heart monitor slowly speeds up making me look up at it.

"C... Camila?"

I immediately stand up to stand beside Dinah's hospital bed. "Dinah?" A tear slides down my cheek.

"Camila..." Dinah smiles weakly.

Lauren presses the button to call the nurse in and once she comes in Lauren tells her to get the doctor. Lauren is now beside me smiling softly down at Dinah. "Hey, buddy. How are you feeling?" Lauren spoke softly.

"Like shit. All of my muscles hurt," Dinah responds.

"They haven't moved in about three days you'll be fine," Lauren squeezes her thigh gently.

"Where... Where's everybody else?" She asks.

"We... Don't know," I let out.

"What?" Dinah furrows her eyebrows.

"Don't worry about it Dinah, don't stress yourself out," I take her hand in mine.

"Have you seen Normani?" Dinah asks.

"We don't know. Do you know where she is?" Lauren asks Dinah.

Dinah furrows her eyebrows in question as she stares up at the ceiling. "She..." Dinah trails off. A light bulb practically pops up atop of her head as her questioning expressions lighten up. "She said she was going to Denver," Dinah says.

Lauren and I look at each other and she nods determinedly.  "Denver it is..."
