13. Friends?

Jungkook's POV

Time flies by so fast. It's already been a week and two days since Jimin transfered here in our school. After that incident in the dance room, Jimin and I grew closer. We got to know each other more, like, i never knew someone could be so addicted to strawberries. Like he even brings some sometimes in school.

He and my hyungs are slowly getting closer too.

He made a lot friends but he always ends up eating lunch with us and spending time with us during lunch breaks. We often go home together too since the apartment he rented was just a few miles away from our house.

My first class just finished, i was on my way to my locker when i heard a familiar voice calling me. I turned around and saw Jimin running towards me with a notebook in his hand.

"I literally forgot about my assignment for Math class, can you lend me a hand?" he asked as soon as he reached me.

I opened my locker and raised a brow at him.

"I'm sorry, do i know you?" i asked playfully as he hit my arm making me chuckle.

"Jungkook I'm not playing around..." he whined as he flips the pages on his notebook.

"Do you really expect me to do your homework right now? I have my own activities to finish too you know..." i replied as i get my books from my locker. "Why can't you do it yourself? You're so negligent..." i added as i close my locker.

"I..." he stated as he gave me a 😐 look. "I wasn't...listening to the teacher when he was discussing the lecture so i-"

He stopped talking as i walk away from him in disbelief.

He was seriously daydreaming during class and now he wants me to do his homework, just wow.😐

"Yah Jungkook!" he called out as he followed me. "How disrespectful of you to turn your back on me, i was still talking to you!" he said pointing a finger at me as if he's an old man lecturing me.

"And how dare you make me do your forgotten homework because you were daydreaming during class?" i fired back as he gave me a stupid look.

I rolled my eyes at him. What a face.

"I wasn't daydreaming!" he exclaimed. "I was..."

I raised a brow at him.

"What?" i uttered, asking him to continue his excuse.

"...distracted" he continued as i gave him a "really?😑" look.

"Come up with a better excuse next time." i replied as i was about to walk off again but he stopped me.

"Eeehhh!! Can you please just help meee?" he pouted, looking at me with cute pleading eyes.

Damn it, he's not my boyfriend but why can't i resist him?

(A/N: Maybe because he looks exactly like your boyfriend?😑)

"I'll just treat you food later, pleasee?" he pleaded more as he moves closer to me with that pout.

I can feel my blood rushing up my cheeks.

I quickly grabbed his notebook and looked away.

"Fine I'll help you..." i stated in defeat.

Damn you.

"Yayy~!" he exclaimed happily. "Come on we have a short break before second class, I'll treat you!" he added as we both went to the cafeteria.

Jimin went off to buy our snacks, i looked around the cafeteria and saw my hyungs sitting on one of the tables. I quickly made my way towards them.

"Hyung help me." i quickly called out to Namjoon hyung and sat beside him as soon as i arrived.

"What about?" he asked as he looked over to me.

"Mathematics." i replied as i place Jimin's notebook down on the table and started flipping the page.

"But you don't have Math class..." Taehyung hyung stated.

"It's not mine it's Jimin's..." i replied making him chuckle.

"I think i know where this is gonna end up..." Taehyung hyung stated once more.

"What?" i asked in confusion.

He wiggled his brows with a teasing smile on his face.

My eyes widened as i know what he meant.

"Shut up hyung." i quickly replied as he laughs.

"Speaking of Jimin, how do you feel towards him?" Hoseok hyung asked.

"I don't know..." i sighed deeply as i flick my hair back with both hands. "All i know is these past few days I'm feeling a little less heavy..." i added.

"Wait so you're falling for him?" Yoongi hyung asked.

"Not exactly...since you told me that he's not really Jimin hyung i kept trying to stop myself from thinking that it's him...but despite that there are times where i still feel weak and soft for him just like how i am for Jimin hyung..." i replied.

"But the main question is...are you ready to finally open up your heart to him? Cause based on what you said about you still feeling weak for him at some points it's not impossible for you to not fall in love with him, and the fact that he looks, sounds and acts exactly like Jimin adds up." Namjoon hyung stated. "Are you ready to finally let someone new walk into your life again? Cause after all, he's not your boyfriend, he's still someone else." he added.

"I don't know..." i muttered softly. "I was in the uphill on our 7th anniversary...i tried asking Jimin hyung if this is what he meant about coming back...i know it sounds stupid but i still tried and asked...after a few seconds a shooting star suddenly passed by... I don't know if I'm making everything a big deal or what...but i took the shooting star as a yes from him..." i added.

"Why?" Taehyung hyung asked.

"It felt like a yes..." i replied softly. "I'm slowly starting to believe Namjoon hyung...what if it IS reincarnation?" i asked.

"That's the only possible explanation and answer to our "how's" so i think it really is." Namjoon hyung replied.

"Back to the question. Are you ready?" Jin hyung asked once more.

I sighed a little.

"I don't know..." i answered shortly. "But if i catch myself falling for him, I won't stop myself. Cause it honestly doesn't feel different at all. It's like I'm with Jimin hyung. But I don't want to stress over it, right now we're just friends..." i stated. "Whatever happens...i'll just let it be..." i added.

Yep.

Just friends.
