14. Glad to Have You

Jungkook's POV

Jimin came back with some snacks in his hand, handing me three of them as he sits beside me.

"Why does Jungkook get snacks and we don't?" Taehyung hyung whined as he pouts.

"Because he helped me with my homework and i promised to treat him for doing so..." Jimin replied.

"But he didn't even do it all by himself! He asked help from Namjoon hyung too!" Taehyung hyung whined more as he kept pouting.

Jimin looked at me and gave me another one of those stupid gaspy faces.

"You did?!" he exclaimed oh so dramatically. "I thought you were smart enough to answer it all by yourself!" he added as he clutched his chest like a dramatic bitch.

"Yeah i thought so too..." i fired back and rolled my eyes. "And don't even get me started with you complaining that i asked help from hyung you can't even do it by yourself!" i added as he opened his mouth, but no words came out making me scoff.

"Wait a damn minute why am i doing your homework? Why don't you do it yourself?" Namjoon hyung suddenly exclaimed.

"Cause he was daydreaming during class and he didn't understand the lecture." i replied.

"HEEEEY! I told you i wasn't daydreaming! I was distracted okay?" Jimin whined.

"No one gets distracted the whole class! If so, that's not called "distracted" anymore!" i replied as Jimin sits back and pouts.

"I'm gonna look for a new apartment to rent by the way..." Jimin suddenly stated.

"Why?" Taehyung hyung asked.

"Someone rented the unit in front of mine and he's honestly pretty annoying. They're just too loud and i can't even focus on my studies..." he complained as he lets out a sigh.

"But...don't you think it's a waste of money? Cause you paid the rent for a whole month and you've only stayed there for two weeks..." Hoseok hyung replied.

"It's okay...i'd rather do so than to stay there. They're giving me a head ache..." Jimin blurted out.

The next statements surprised me.

"Hey...why don't you stay with us..?" Jin hyung stated making my eyes widen.

"What?" Jimin and I stated at the same time, him with a confused face and me with a surprised one.

"What? We're starting to be close with Jimin too anyway, that's not a problem." Jin hyung replied. "And besides, it's not gonna be a bothersome for all of you since you're not the one who buys the foods you eat." he added as he rolls his eyes.

Yes, Jin hyung came from a wealthy family. But even so he likes to keep things simple. He doesn't spend money over accessories or expensive clothes.

He's a really kind hyung as well. Even though we're not his real dongsaengs he still buys us food and snacks regularly AND he even cooks for us. That's why i sometimes wake up earlier than him even in weekdays but mostly weekends so i can cook breakfast for them. That's the only thing i can do for Jin hyung who takes good care of us 24/7.

"Yah! Are you saying we can't live without your "care"?" Yoongi hyung stated as he quickly sits up. "I'm an independent man i can take good care of myself!" he added.

"Leave the house then." Jin hyung replied.

"I-" Yoongi hyung stated, but ended up sinking in his seat. "No i love it there." he continued making Jin hyung roll his eyes.

"Oh...well...i'd rather not. I don't wanna be a burden to you hyung, i can find myself a place to stay." Jimin stated.

"Hey...i insist...you save up your money for your school needs okay? I'll take care of you together with these five dorks..." Jin hyung stated making my eyes go wide.

"Yah I'm not a dork!" i exclaimed.

"I'm not a fucking dork." Yoongi hyung added.

"I have a sexy brain..." Namjoon hyung stated.

"Uhm...okay?" Taehyung hyung replied with a 😐 face.

Jin hyung ignored our words as he continued to talk to Jimin.

"And besides, even if you're not my real dongsaeng i still don't see you as just a friend anymore, like, ever since we grew closer you're like...a part of us now...and i still worry about you too you know..." he stated as he lets out a soft chuckle, making Jimin give us a soft warm smile.

Indeed the best hyung i ever had.

Jimin's POV

I felt my heart flutter at Jin hyung's words. I mean i had friends too but, no one treated me as someone more than that, no one treated me like a dongsaeng like Jin hyung does.

I feel happy.

Despite everything that happened in my life that hurted me, i wanna thank them for coming into my life. Ever since we all became friends, i felt happier.

But out of all of them, Jungkook and I are the closest, not because we became friends first, but because i feel...more comfortable with him. Despite him teasing me every once in a while, he's really fun to be with.

He really gets me, he understands me well, aside from that, he's not insensitive. He knows when to be serious. He a very good listener as well, he helps me whenever he can, he makes me feel...happy...

but in an...unexplainable way...

to the point where even I can't explain.
