"It looked like a man but completely covered in silver." Johnny explained on his experience with the silver flash. "And he was flying this like.. Like a surfboard type thing. I know it sounds crazy."
The blonde male was still quite baffled over the experience but something didn't feel right. He didn't know what is was exactly but he had a bad feeling in his gut that something was off about the entire situation.
Ever since his fall back to Earth after being released from the silver man's steel-like grip, he had felt different. Hell, he couldn't even fully ignite his body to fly but he was damn lucky to be alive from that fall.
Kayla frowned at her boyfriend with worry clearly evident in her hazel eyes as she returned from the kitchen with a glass of water in hand.
"Here." She said softly, handing the glass over to him as she took a seat next to him on the step with Reed, Susan, Ben, General Hagar and his personnel surrounding them.
Ben scoffed at the younger Storm sibling's explanation. "Oh, no. Not at all." He said with an amused tone. "So did you follow the shiny man to Lollipop Land or the Rainbow Junction?" He asked with a chuckle.
"Ben.." Kayla said warningly.
Johnny's head snapped towards the rocky man. Of course, he'd get a laugh out of this. "Look, I know what I saw." He replied with a hard tone.
"Thank you." Reed said, stepping in to diffuse a possible oncoming argument ent which immediately put an end to Ben's laughter.
The scientist then looked towards his soon-to-be brother-in-law. "It's okay, Johnny." He said. "Whatever this thing's physical appearance is, it has the ability to convert matter and energy."
"So, it caused the anomalies." General Hagar replied seeming to have pieced everything together.
"It seems to radiate cosmic energy when it exerts itself, randomly affecting matter." Reed continued on. "Evidently this.. Entity, this.." He glanced over to the young male next to his sister, trying to figure out what to call the creature. "Silver Surfer.. It didn't want to be detected. It destroyed the sensor."
Susan blinked in shock. "It knew it was being monitored?" She asked, standing beside her fiancée.
The older Richards sibling nodded his head. "And traced it back here. We're dealing with something highly resourceful."
Suddenly, Johnny had quietly gotten to his feet, grunting as he pushed himself to stand up. His limbs felt shakey, almost as if his body was about to collapse to the floor at any second.
Kayla watched him, growing highly concerned by the minute. "Are you feeling okay?" She asked softly, having never seen this side to him before.
Even Susan was watching her brother in concern.
The blonde male let out a heavy sigh and eventually nodded his head. "Yeah." He lied, not wanting to worry the brunette further. "I just.. I gotta walk this off."
Without another word, he left the room. Everyone watched his retreating figure with concern, even Ben though he would never admit it out loud.
The 5'2" brunette shared a look with a brother and quickly pushed herself off the step and went after her boyfriend.
"Johnny?" She called out as she entered the living room, in hopes that he'd be in there but no such luck.
There was no sign of the blonde anywhere in the penthouse.
With a frown and biting her lower lip, she decided that her next best bet would be the rooftop.
As she made a move to turn, she heard the yell of her boyfriend and sharply turned towards the window where her eyes widened in horror.
