Monday.

Removing the duvet that covered her creamy skin, Amalia walks to the bathroom to start the day. Ever since she spoke with Demetrio two days ago about Gino, she has made plans to visit Florence to talk with Demetrio, and that's going to be tomorrow.

Today is the circle day. A new member has joined, and it is mandatory for every member to attend to meet with this new member. It is rarely for any new members to join, and that's what concerned Amalia. Where did this new elite come from? She thought.

She has never heard of his name before in the marketplace, and that raised suspicions in her.

Circling her thumb and pointy around the shower head, she takes it off the hanger and cleans off the soap that covered her body.

After she finished, she walked outside, wrapping a towel around her body.

For first impressions, she loved making a statement, and she did that with her outfit. She always chooses something that would intimidate others, just like she did when she met Isabella and Alessandro. To her, perfect clothing is power.

Settling upon the dark maroon blazer set, she out it on. A simple, yet sultry makeup look covered her face.

Walking downstairs, she was met with Annie and her tea.

"Buongiorno, il mio amore." Annie greets, her voice filled with warmth.

"Buongiorno, mamma." Amalia replies back, as she took the cup of tea from her mother, and walking into the living room to greet the rest.

"Good morning, Alessandro." Amalia smiles, as she reaches for a kiss, and being granted one.

"Morning, my love." He smirks, giving in to the kiss.

"Sorry to interrupt your little moment, but where is Isabella?" Annie says.

"She's kn a break." Amalia replies, sitting on the couch, and motioning for Alessandro to do the same.

"We have to leave to Florence tomorrow. I have to meet with Demetrio and discuss Gino. I still cannot believe he died without giving useful information." Amalia explains, huffing in the process.

"When are we leaving?" Alessandro asks.

"Tomorrow morning."

Amalia picks up her cup of tea, taking a lingering sip before putting it back down. She had always loved tea. It is one of her favorite hot drinks on Earth.

Looking between Annie and Alessandro, she farrows  her eyebrows, as she saw something weird between them.

"What is it?"

"What is what?" Alessandro asks, confusedly.

"There is something between the two of you that you are hiding. What is it?" She presses.

"There's nothing, sweetie." Annie replies this time. Amalia was not convinced, but she let it slip this time.

"Anyways, we have to leave. I have a meeting with the circle." Amalia announces, glancing at Alessandro, who nodded in approval.

After kissing Annie goodbye, Amalia and Alessandro stroll out the front door. The fresh breeze touched Amalia's skin as she walked to the car.

"By the way, Lily says hi and told me to give you a kiss." Alessandro suddenly says once they got seated.

She gave him a side glance and the corners of her lips lifted into a smirk.

"Where do you want to give the kiss this time?" He says, making her blush like a Rose.
