I look away from Niall and back to the nurse. "Four of them? Can you describe them for me?" The nurse asks. "I'm not so sure. They dragged me down to the basement and I didn't see their faces at first. It was too dark to see them in the basement anyways. The light was so faint." I explain. Four of them. I'm defending one.
"Ok..." The nurse says. She was writing down all I said on a notebook, probably to show the police before they come in theirselves. "And Niall, how did you find Mackenzie?" The nurse asks.
"Well, I was walking down the street past PineGrove Hotel and then I saw the door open. Which surprised me, because the hotel was in lockdown. Being the curious person I am, I went inside. I was too curious to find out why the door was open. But when I went in, I saw blood stains on the floor where the basement door was. It was wide open. I peeped in but I saw a girl passed out on the floor. I immediately went to help." Niall explains.
"Ok..." The nurse says. "I'll be back soon," she adds on and then she leaves the room.
Niall and I just told a big lie. It's possible that we'll get caught soon. But for now, I guess we're sticking with this story...
