The four that came out of the basement are strong and rough looking. I'm feeling threatened. They're all so strong and harsh looking while I'm a weak, scared baby compared to them. Five against one. They could kill me right now. I tighten my grip on the pipe and one smirks to himself. I've a bad feeling about him. I'm gonna have to carry the gun around with me now. They might slaughter me before I know it.
I should abandon the murder case and run out of the hotel or stay up all night clutching my weapon and wait until the police officer arrives tomorrow then get them arrested. I'll stay over the night with the gun and then report. I'll do that.
"So, Niall. What's this chicks name?" A brown curly haired lad asked. I scoff and raise the pipe. He doesn't seem threatened. "Nice try, babe. I'm not scared." The same lad chuckles. "Harry, she threatened to whack me 'down there' with that! She already hurt me shoulder bad enough. Don't cross the line." Niall warns them and I'm disgusted the way he said it. I am a lady!
"Hmm." Curly- I mean, Harry, hums. "My name is Mackenzie. If you go near me, I'll beat the life out of you with this pipe." I threatened. But not threatening enough. They all chuckle. I roll my eyes and swing the pipe at the nearest. The lad that scares me the most. He has black hair. I hit his hip and he hisses in pain, grabbing onto his hip. "That could've been aimed to the right." I say through gritted teeth.
I hate them already. "So, Mackenzie. Why are you here?" A guy with brown eyes and brown hair asks. He's actually kind and friendly looking but I'm just going to stay on the safe side and keep my distance. "Well, my mother was murdered here, in this hotel. I am staying around searching for clues that could lead to finding out about her murder." I explain.
They say silent and exchange a few looks. "Well you'll be getting that job done quicker, as for we'll be helping you search for clues," A man with brown hair and blue/green eyes says, "There's no disagreeing or anything! We're helping!"
