- Strange Point Of View -

Mackenzie was at the hotel for five days. The police officer did visit every day, as he said. Mackenzie was confused and swore she found a button but it was gone out of its spot in the drawer. But the thin line of blood outside the window was something too. Mackenzie stayed in different hotel rooms, different floors when night came.

She was surprisingly not hungry as much. She didn't eat the food at the hotel. She went across the road and got a roll at the small shop. She returned as soon as possible to the hotel in case something happened that was a clue. But she came across nothing. She thought she was just wasting her time on something pointless, but she reminded herself that it could lead to finding out about her mothers murder.

It was around four o'clock. Mackenzie was walking down the stairs to the lobby holding her notebook and pencil. Suddenly, the basement door slammed closed. Mackenzie screamed and ran to the ground, looking around frantically. She saw nothing.

She gulped and walked towards the basement door. She hates basements. She hated the way basements were counted as something creepy. She likes some creepy things, but she doesn't like basements.

Mackenzie grabbed the handle and quickly swung the door open and to her shock, she saw a person, eyes wide, staring at her.
