They were alone in the middle of the royal garden...The sky was getting darker but due to the moonlight his face was clearly visible to her . She didn't want to hear those words , she was trying her best to make her self believe that it was just a bad dream...But she failed...
His face was pale, his deep dark eyes didn't face hers...He wasn't speaking with his normal charm and tone...His smile was absent...He was confused and reluctant to speak those words to her , Urmila sensed it very easily...But as always ,he was very honest.
"I hope I am not hurting you...But princess.."
"You are...you are hurting me...But why?" Her eyes were filled with tears...But she was not ready to let them flow.
He didn't reply to her. He tried to continue his words...
"Call me Urmila, that is my name...you know that... Lakshman..."
He was a warrior , he never feared of a battle...But today he lost all his weapons...She was his love, she was his pleasure...He wished to make her happy for always...And that was the reason behind his words...
"Urmila don't feel that it is your fault, it is not yours...actually...I...I can't marry you .Please understand...I am taking this decision for your wellbeing...This is good for both of us..."
She felt a strange pain in her heart...She felt the loss...But still she was not ready to accept the decision .
"Don't try to mask your reason from me Lakshman...Share it with me...Or can I believe that I am not worthy to have you as my love ,I am not worthy to enter the Ragukul as a daughter-in-law..."
He felt a fire burning in his soul...Waves of anger started to pass through his veins...He wished to yell like a wild animal...Her words were piercing him like arrows.
"Enough...How dare you to speak like that..."
Urmila startled by his sudden loud voice. Her wide lovely eyes were fixed on the darkness behind him...Tears made their way through her face...
"Share your reason with me..."
Lakshman took a deep breath. She was just like him...Stubborn and strong willed...He had no other choice.
"Well... I will tell you...Urmila..."
