"You don't need a permission to enter in my room, Laksh... You know that..."
Lakshman sat near Ram silently. He was thinking about an appropriate way to start his words. He never had a doubt on sharing anything with his bhaiya, there were no secrets between them...
Ram waited for his confused brother to begin the conversation. But the latter didn't utter a word.
"Why are you being this much cautious my boy, you are speaking with me...I can't believe this "
Lakshman gasped and shook his head with a sudden jerk. 'Did his brother mean that he had changed...Or did any change happened to his relation with his bhaiya , because of his decision...' That thought gave him another shock.
Ram can read his little brother's mind ,it was as simple and clear, just like reading alphabets for him. Usually people thinks Lakshman has the most complex and unpredictable personality among four of them. But according to Ram he was the simplest, the one who could never hide his innermost feelings...He had an intense personality, who love with a great passion and hate in the same way if it needed...
He ran his fingers through Lakshman's curly and messy hair.
"You went to the garden, right..."
"Yes bhaiya... And... I was..."
"With Urmila..." Ram cut him before he could say anything.
"Bhaiya... How did you know that !"
Lakshman stared at his brother who was busy in enjoying his amazed face.
"Because I am Ram and you are my Lakshman...Simple..." Replied Ram with a proud smile on his face and invited his brother for an embrace.
Lakshman threw him self on Ram's arms and placed his head on his chest. The fear which was burning his soul vanished with in a second. He was in the most safe and comforting position. 'How can I change...Lakshman is Ram bhaiya's brother, I was, I am and I will remain the same...'
"She accepted you and made it clear that there is no need of a confusion...Isn't it? "
Lakshman started to speak "Again bhaiya...How..." But before Ram could intervene he corrected him self. "Oh...Sorry, Because You are Ram and I am Lakshman..."
"Not just Lakshman but my, my Lakshman...How dare you to skip that word!" Ram said with a fake anger.
Lakshman couldn't control his laugh. "You are the best...bhaiya..."
"Now you are absolutely all right with this marriage"
Said Ram and Lakshman agreed with a nod.
"Good..." Ram cupped Lakshman's face . "Now listen to me...I have to share something with you"
"It is a serious matter, Isn't it bhaiya? "
"Yes , a kind of...But..."
"Is there any security problem...Damn it ! I didn't visit our Army commander yet...It is my duty...How could I be this much irresponsible..."
"Lakshman! don't react before understanding the matter...When will you learn to have some patience in life...Kaikeyi mata is absolutely correct , One has to think at least a thousand times before having a talk with you...!"
"Umm...sorry , leave it bhaiya... What did you mean by that...problem "
"I know you can't and you won't hide anything from me...So I am asking directly, do you think that my marriage with Janaki will affect our brotherhood in anyway? "
"NO...Never..." Lakshman screamed suddenly.
"Are you sure ?"
"Yes, I am . I had this thought on my mind but it was about my marriage with Mila not with yours bhaiya... But both of you made me overcome that, you and Mila..."
From the first day when he met Urmila with Sita , Ram felt a strange connection between she and Lakshman...The way they loved their siblings, the way they both being angry...He felt that she would be a perfect match for his brother...And she proved it now. Ram praised his little sister in mind.
The sight of Lakshman who was looking at him with a pouted face made Ram walk to the past. He felt no difference...He was the same six year old Ram who is going to pacify his little three year old Lakshman, and the latter is on the verge of a sob...They are just the same.
"I love you my Saumitra, I am very happy for you "
Lakshman's eyes began to shine like a bright star when he heard the name 'Saumitra'. And Ram knew that he loved that name, especially when it pronounced in his bhaiya's sound.
The brothers shared a tight hug again. And as usual Ram thanked God for blessing him with Lakshman in his life.
He placed a kiss on his younger brother's forehead and whispered to his own soul in a joyful tone.
"Nothing will change...Never..."
