A/N: No, you're not hallucinating. I finally updated.

I hope I keep updating though. I thought so many times about discontinuing this story, because I started this when I was what? 15? It has been 8 years, and so much has changed about me, and my writing style, and yes the death of Spoon made me very sad, but I got over it. I hope you enjoy the new updates as much as the old chapter (I'm trying to keep things the same as they were before), and fuck discontinuing this.

So you better enjoy this, or else I'm killing Kenny for real.

It was quiet and bright – I could tell even with my eyes closed – and I felt warm and comfortable, something I rarely got to feel these days. My jacket was doing a great job at keeping me warm as I stirred a bit contemplating whether to wake up or continue lying there blissfully. The former was a lot more tempting, but I felt uneasy at the fact that Kenny didn't wake me up like he usually does since he was one of those morning people.

I still don't know how he manages to wake up early every morning.

Naturally, I assumed that I had woken up before him and I almost went back to sleep, but it was quiet. Too quiet. I tried to focus on hearing a sign of him breathing or stirring, but there was none. It was weird especially since he tended to snore a little.

Worried, I cracked an eye open and tried to blink away the blurriness in my vision. When it finally got clear, I was face to face to the most terrifying thing anybody could wake up to.

Wide-eyes, scary looking teeth and a scary looking metal skeleton.

I instantly jumped yelling and as a result I fell on the floor with my heart thudding in my chest from the scare that I got. The silence was gone as soon as a laugh broke out but I was too shaken and stunned to glare, so instead I kept looking around blinking trying to make sense of what was going on. I swear if that face was a zombie's face, I wouldn't have freaked out this much.

Instead it had to be the stupid animatronic.

I heard Kenny walk closer behind me and suddenly, a can of mushrooms was thrown into my lap. "Good morning, love." He said ruffling my hair still chuckling. I stared at the mushroom can still out of it before I finally snapped out of it. "What was that?" I shouted getting on my feet.

"Breakfast." He shrugged casually.

"Not that you idiot!" I said exasperated. "That!" I said pointing at the severed head of the stupid creepy robot. Kenny grinned, and at the same time a zombie bumped a bit too close to the door. However, none of us paid him any mind. "Oh, that." Kenny pretended to just notice the presence of the head. "I just felt like doing that."

I walked up to him sighing and holding my can and the zombie bumped into the glass door again, this time opening it. "Don't do that again." I mumbled pulling him by the hem of his shirt completely ignoring the zombie that just got in as I gave Kenny a kiss which he happily returned. The zombie growled behind still too far for any of us to care. The kiss escalated a bit getting more heated and I simply punched Kenny in the gut.

He grunted in pain breaking the kiss and scowled.

I shrugged in return. "I just felt like doing that."

Kenny squinted, staring at me. "Ah," He feigned a smile nodding. "Well played, you ass." He clapped slowly while I smiled in triumph. Meanwhile, the zombie staggered closer to us while he bumped into a table and growled. It was laughable how stupid zombies are. That is until they bite you and you became as stupid as them.
